Over the past few decades , the world are revolutionised with computerisation . Therefore , the government is trying to bring the computer into education . Although computers can help students to gain a wide range of knowledge , many people think that student are gradually depend on computers for their study may have some negative effects . From my observation and my point of view , i believe that the disagvantages of it outweigh the advantages .

To begin with , the benefits of using computerare are widely admitted . As a high-tech tool , computers can provide students with diversified method to learn more efficiently. They can get many news in every part of the world , some of which can draw many lessons from and avoid it . Besides, the computer is the place where students can help themselves to gather a lot of information through many websites designed for studying online with teachers or exchanging their experience and knowledge in studying by video call , which supports them to absorb knowledge effectively with good spirit in a lively atmosphere .

On the other hand, students are far too on computers for their study . Firstly , they are tend to rely too much on computers to search for available information instead of thinking by themselves . Secondly , remember that students are children who are still lack of self-control , so they are likely to be addicted to computers, video game is a particular example . Being exposed to computers but not for studying is not only wasting their time which can be used to do many thing but also can lead students to be tempted to play games and lose their intesrest in studying . Furthermore , their perspective and knowledge about real world are not developed well if they deep into virtual world ,which seriously affects and destroy their future . Thirdly ,although they have a good purpose , using computers for long hours has both physical and psychological effects such as short-sighted and memory reduction . .

In conslusion , despite the negative effects , studying on computers can bring many benefit for students who wisely know how to take advantage of it . However, students should be encouraged to use computer daily to enhance knowledge while taking precaution in order not to affect their health .

As is known to all, everybody has his or her own view on selecting clothes. The clothes somebody likes very much may be very ugly in others' opinion. Some People say that it is possible to tell a lot about a person's culture and character from their choice of clothes. I agree with that because I think culture and character are two vital factors for a person to choose their dress.

Firstly culture is key factor on people selecting dress. Culture is related to people's religion closely. There are Christian, Muslim and Hindu in the world. And their dressings are quite different. Christian likes to wear suits, shirts and skirts, while Muslim prefer a Arabian traditional gowns. And female Hindu would like to wear the Indian mass. Therefore, you can know a person's culture from their clothes easily. Because people from different culture will choose different style of clothes.

Secondly, character is another important factor for a person to choose their clothes. For example, a person with bad temper would like some tight suits because they want to keep stress and refreshing at all times. However, a person with gentle temper prefers some loose clothes. So they can relax themselves and keep calm at any time.

In conclusion, everyone's clothes are related to the combination of culture and character. So we can know his or her culture, religion and even where he or she comes from. In other way, we can also tell a lot what his or her character is. And we can even find a right way to talk to a stranger according to his or her dresses.

In my opinion, I think old people should live in the country because they can enjoy their life comfortably.

First, living in the country is more peaceful and quieter. There is not much traffic there and old people don't suffer the noise from vehicles or factories,...

Secondly, in the countryside, old people can have a healthier life than that in the city. They can breathe in fresh air which is good for them because there is less pollution. Moreover. they also approach the natural scene such as the sunrise or sunset, the streams, or lake... In the afternoon, they can walk along roads as go sightseeing and also do exercises

Thirdly, living in the countryside is safer and cheaper than that in the urban areas. Last but not least, they can make new friends. The people in the countryside is not only friendly but they also are hospitable. Old people will be more optimistic and happier when living in the country.

In conclusion, I think living in the country is a good choice for old people. It is suitable to rest and relax

I strongly agree with the idea: "English is a useful language" for the following reasons. First of all, English is an international language. There are more than one hundred English speaking countries all over the world, so it is very useful to speak English. Furthermore, speaking English well makes it easy to have a job. My sister speaks English very excellently, so she has got a good and well-paid job since she graduated from university. Last but not least, English is a means of communication. For example, you can communicate with people worldwide in English, which also helps you to know their cultures very well. In conclusion, it is very useful to speak English for the reasons I have mentioned above.

For question 36-45, read the text. Use the words given in CAPITALS to form a word that fits in the numbered gaps. There is an example at the beginning (0). Write your answer on YOUR ANSWER part.

It is sometimes said that your schooldays are the (0. happy) days of your life, and people often feel that this should be a period of (36. ENJOY) enjoyment. However, exams often affect students’ happiness, and many students express a (37. PREFER) preference for alternative methods of assessment, where the work they do throughout the year counts towards their final mark. They say that exams test short-term memory and (38. KNOW) knowledge which is forgotten immediately after the exam. Also, assessing coursework as part of the final marks changes students' (39. BEHAVE) behaviour; making them more (40. RESPONSIBILITY)responsible about studying. There are some students, however, who prefer final examinations, saying that in (41. COMPARE) comparement they only have to work hard for two months a year and so they have more time for their leisure (42. ACT)activity. They say that some students receive (43. ASSIST) with their coursework from their parents, so it is not an accurate (44. MEASURE)measuring of how hard they have worked or of their real (45. ABLE)ability in the subject they are studying.
