My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.

Last traditional Lunar New Year, my family organized a trip to Cambodia, and it was an exciting trip. We did not go by airway; instead we chose to go by long-distance bus. After about 10 hours of sitting in the bus, we finally came to Xa Xia border which was located right next to Ha Tien. It was my first time out of the Vietnamese territory, and the religious atmosphere at Cambodia made me feel very impressed. After crossing the border, we spent about 3 more hours on the bus before reaching a small coastal province called Sihanouk. My parents were tired after a long trip, so they decided to have a rest at the hotel. However, my sister and I spent the entire afternoon wandering in the local markets. We bought a lot of interesting things, and what I like most was the delicious durian. The atmosphere there was hotter than Vietnam, so we could only comfortably go sightseeing when the sun completely disappeared. Right in the center of the town is a giant golden lion statue - Sihanouk's symbol, and I noticed that almost every major building here has a casino. Early in the next morning we boarded the ship to move to Korong Salem Island, and this was one of the most famous islands in Cambodia. After about 45 minutes on the boat, Korong Island appeared as a paradise beach with white sand and green coconut palms. The water there was crystal clear and as calm as a swimming pool. We spent a whole day swimming and playing along the beach, and we only had lunch when the sun began to shine brightly. The next day we visited some famous pagodas, and the trip ended late at night. Although I had to travel for a long way, but I feel this trip was worth it. Experiencing a new culture in Cambodia is a really exciting thing, and I hope I have opportunity to visit more countries.

In my summer holiday, I did not do something special and did not go somewhere special except Chamonix and Venice. Most of my holiday was showing friends of my parents and my grandparents the most important and the most beautiful places of Geneva and its surroundings.

I started the summer holiday before everyone (6 days before). That was because of my grandparents. Well, it first started off when my grand parents came. We were going by car where my grandmother wouldn't walk and I was walking with my grandfather. Because my grandfather likes walking and my grandmother doesn't. Well they stayed for 1 month and went back to Turkey. The next visitors were my mother's schoolmates (can you believe it!!). They stayed one month as well. We kind of went to same places, when they were gone that was the fun. We went to Chamonix and Venice.

The best thing there was the Jacuzzi and the pool. In Chamonix, the mountains haven. The highest there was Mont-Blanc and Auguille du Midi. We climbed with a cable car; it was totally amazing and extremely cold. This point was 3842 meters high. And, of course, I should not forget Venice, it was also a haven but I didn't see much because we had small amount of time. The most amazing thing was the square of San Marco Polo and then the gondolas.

The thing I really liked about my holiday was getting a brand new VW Passat and seeing my grandparents (first time in two years).

If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.

Almost people say that they prefer living in the peaceful countryside to the noisy city. I agree with them but I can't admit it when I live here-my second hometown-Tay Ninh. Although Tay Ninh is now a city but it's very peaceful and comfortable. I can hardly hear any loud noise and you know, to me, the most peaceful place is my neighborhood.

My family and my neighbors live together on Dien Bien Phu Street. Every morning when I get up, I always can see the sun shining and there are some warm voices from the small beautiful birds and the sounds from my neighborhood. We all get up very early. A new day begins. I often wander around my neighborhood. There are lots of green trees along the streets. There, we can see a range of houses from high to short, ordinary to extraordinary. We all do business. Some neighbors sell foods, drinks and household appliances as grocery stores. Some are tailors who mend clothes, make clothes and mend shoes too. Some are the barbers who cut hair and give make up my mother. Some are bakers who bake cakes in the bakery and sell breads. The environment is never polluted and we can feel the warm atmosphere everytime.

All the inhabitants in my neighbor are very friendly to each other. Whenever a person needs help, the others are always ready to give help and one thing should be mostly appreciated is that they never mind how difficult the work is. And we build such a great consolidation. When a neighbor has just returned from a trip, they always remember to buy the others some beautiful and worthy gifts and we also share the money for parties together. We never underestimate the honor we give each other.

I love my neighborhood very much. I hope that our friendliness and consolidation will last forever and remain unchanged.

I wish I would have a big penthouse in a big city. It will be a modern and comfortable near my working place. My house has two floors with 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and an entertainment room. All equipment in my house will be high-tech to serve my daily life in the best way. In my bedroom, it will painted a bright color tone to make a room more spacious. I will hang on the wall a few beautiful paintings and photos. There is a dressing room where I display my collection clothes and shoes. An entertainment room will be well-equipped with a smart TV and a modern karaoke system. Especially, on the second floor, there will be a large balcony where my family set up a party and have a barbecue with our lovely friends at the weekends. My dream house in the future is a big house with 3 floors. Full of amenities. There will be 10 rooms in the house including: bedroom, dining room, bathroom, living room, kitchen, office. One thing I really want in my future home is: There will be robots that can do housework such as cooking, washing dishes, sweeping the house,... . That way I will be less tired with housework

Although it is just a small place without many decorative things, it brings a lot of delicious dishes to our family. My mother arranges and keeps everything very tidily; and she does not let anybody clean her kitchen because she says that person will mess up her things. Although it does not have many things, we always need my mother’s help to search for what we need. There is a cupboard on the wall where she stores the bowls, dishes, spices, and other kitchen utensils. The walls are painted in a dark color so the stains are not visible. The kitchen table is built from concrete so it is very stable, and we can put heavy things on it.
