I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History.

History tells us how people lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to struggle to make the world a better place to live. Many pupils, however, do not to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we do not know about the past, we can not understand the present properly. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that everything we do today is the result of what our grandfathers and others before them did in the past. So, History is the long story, we learn many interesting things.

I love history so much that i have a lot of history books in my house. Some day, i might even write a history book myself.

Bài 2:

My favourite subject in school is English. It is quite easy and pleasant to study it. English is used in each field of life and it is useful to know it.

Most of web sides are in English. It is nice to be able to use such a sides yahoo, msn and english Wikipedia. I can get a lot of information and news, which are not available on polish sides.

I can use english books and magazines. Sometimes I to download e-books and magazines in pdf. It is effectively way to study English in home. Using English I can communicate with many peoples. I can use Skype and ICQ to talk and chat and get new contacts. I can use many applications and play games. I have used Windows XP and Office for two months and it was quite easy. Most of movies are in English. I to watch them without subtitles. If I can I always switch the polish dubbing off ? I hate it.

The last advantage to know English is I can talk with all people talking English. This holidays when I was in Gdańsk somebody asked all people: ?Do you speak English?? Everybody talked ?No? and ?Nie wiem o co chodzi.?. When she came to me and asked the question ?Do you speak English?? I could say ?Yes, how can I help you?? She told ?How can I get to the bus station?? I told ?Can you see this building? The station is behind it. Please go this way?. She smiled to me and walked away. I was happy that I could help.

As you can see English is useful in life. All of us study it in everyday situations and activities. The language is quite simple and logic. I use it all the time. This is why I English and it is my favourite subject in school

Bài 3:

My favorite subject in school is Mathemas. It is my favorite because I never have difficulty with it and always get good marks in tests.

I suppose I am lucky to be born with a clear-thinking brain. So ever since young, manipulating numbers and figures came easy to me.

The wonderful thing about Mathemas is that, besides some formulae, there is nothing else to remember. Every step in solving a problem is done logically. Other subjects History and Geography require a lot of memory work. Remembering dates and other facts is hard work compared with the ease and simplicity of mathemaal reasoning.

While Mathemas is simple to me, some of my friends have great difficulty with it. I do not really understand why. They get stuck with simple problems and often give up. So I help them out when I can.

The one advantage I have in being good in Mathemas is that I do not have to spend a lot of time on it. Homework and tests are a breeze. So I have plenty of time left over to study other subjects. Sometimes I feel sorry for my less fortunate classmates who get scolded in class for not completing their Mathemas homework.

Anyhow I have come to realize that human beings can be so different in their abilities while they look similar otherwise. Some of us are lucky to be good in some things. Others may not be so lucky.

Bài 4:

When I was in High school, my favorite subject was the Korean Literature. Most friends of mine used to fall asleep in the class because they felt the subject was boring and old-fashioned. However, my eyes were widened and I felt excited as the Literature class has started. I thought the subject was leading me to the new world that I had never experienced before in my life.

Through the reading of variety genre of the Literature, I could feel my ancestor's life and culture in the specific era. Especially in old poem, I noed their values such as loyalty to the nation, religious attitudes influenced by shamanism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Moreover, people started to write an essay which is more narrative and descriptive based on their usual life. Through the reading, I could feel their sorrow, happiness and depicted love of nature and man. For me, it was fascinated to find out someone's feeling through out the short piece of the Literature.

As well as reading and analyzing others' masterpieces, my teacher, Mrs. Lee asked us to create some of the writing based on the characters of the Literature that we learned in the class. Sometime, I pretended to be a soldier who was filled with loyalty towards the Kingdom and described my emotions in the short poem. In addition, she made us to write a love letter to the main characters in the Literature. At the first time, students including me complained to the teacher because we were not familiar with the work. However, through the writing processing, I learned and praced how to imagine other people's status and emotions.

Reading and writing process in the Korean Literature subject was one of my communication way to the world and history. I could access to various styles of Literature in different ages from old times to the modern ages. It always refreshed my thoughts and feelings during the school years.

Bài 5:

Of all the subjects taught in school, I Geography best. It is the only subject which teaches me everything I need to know about the world we live in, for example, vegetation, way of life of people, climate, agriculture and economy.

I learn about the countries around Malaysia and in other parts of the world and, since I cannot visit and see for myself every country in the world, I get at least a good picture of these countries by studying Geography. I am very interested in finding out more about other countries especially those that experience snow when winter comes. I often wonder about the life of the people in these countries. What would it be to be dressed in thick clothes and boots and living in snow-covered houses amidst fir trees? Then, there are the hot desert lands that stretch for miles and miles without a tree in sight. They, too, fascinate me. I marvel at the inhabitants who are able to tolerate the intense heat of the burning sun, traveling along miles of barren, hot land on camels where the only vegetation found would be the few palm trees growing at an oasis. The wide range of food which we enjoy daily such as butter, cheese, fruits, bread that comes from wheat and many others lead me on to find out how they are processed and imported into Malaysia and finally make their appearance in our homes.

As I study more in Geography, I understand better the changes in weather conditions, for example, why there are hot and dry seasons or cool rainy days during the monsoon season and how deserts are caused.

An environment is the natural surroundings which helps human beings, animals and other living things to grow and develop naturally. But nowadays, our environment is disturbing in many different ways. Any type of disturbance in the nature’s balance affects the environment totally. It does not only ruin human lives but also affects on all living beings. We can save our environment with the little step taken by everyone on the earth. We should reduce the amount of waste, throwing wastes properly to its place only…and many other simple ways. It is very important to save environment for human existence. When we protect the environment, we are protecting ourselves and our future as well.

Nowadays, a variety of environmental problems affect our entire world. As globalization continues and Earth’s natural processes, few societies are being left untouched by major environmental troubles.First of all, some of the largest problems now affecting to the world, air pollution and hazardous waste. These issues can be avoided with the recycling, for example in order to reduce pollution, we can minimize the energy spends on industrial production. Consequently, the greenhouse emission can be reduced which are harmful for the environment and our health. Furthermore, most of the landfill sides are filled up with a lot of waste products that could have been recycled, especially waste materials that belong to non-biodegradable category which takes a long time to discompose. In this way, recycling enable proper usage of these waste products and saves space for landfill.Plant more trees. This is easy, you know? Choose an open area/ground near your residence or workplace. Plant a tree every month, encourage your friends and colleagues to join you. Have more and more trees planted and there will come a day when you have a green stretch of land thanks to your effort.Walk more, drive less. Now that's not very difficult, is it? Choose to walk short distances instead of taking your car every time. Walking to the gym, to work (if it's not very far), go walking to run errands. Or use a bicycle. Both cycling and walking are good exercises. And each time you avoid using your car, you are contributing to reducing air pollution. You are saving fuel, saving money and getting a good workout too.

Hôm ấy là một ngày đẹp trời lại là ngày nghỉ học, em cùng với Việt Hà rủ nhau ra công viên hóng mát. Tình cờ chúng em gặp được bốn bạn trai cùng lớp. Đó là Phát, Hoàng, Độ, Dũng. Sau khi dạo một vòng quanh công viên, chúng em lại ngồi đối diện nhau trên hai dãy ghế, ngắm nhìn cảnh vật xe cộ qua lại và kể cho nhau nghe những chuyện cười đọc được trang báo "Nhi Đồng" và "Khăn quàng đỏ". Cả bọn cười nói rôm rả. Bỗng, Độ phát hiện thấy dưới ghế ngồi có mấy ông chích (ống kim tiêm). Độ lấy que hất ra ngoài rồi nói: "Có lẽ đây là mấy ống chích của mấy người ghiền xì ke đây". Em suy nghĩ một lát rồi đề nghị: "Tụi mình về nhà lấy que gắp, rồi ra đây chúng mình đi khắp công viên gom lại bỏ vào thùng rác đi. Để thế này nguy hiểm lắm! Mọi người đều đồng ý. Sáng đó, chúng em gom được một bọc, ước chừng vài chục ống chích, đem bỏ vào thùng rác. Việc làm của chúng em tuy không lớn nhưng đứa nào đứa nấy đều cảm thấy vui, vì mình đã làm được một việc tốt, góp phần bảo vệ môi trường.

Nhà em thường có thói quen xem thời sự và lúc 19h tối, hằng ngày em thấy ti vi liên tục nói đến vấn đề ô nhiễm môi trường và những mối nguy hại xung quanh nó, điều ấy khiến cả nhà em đều không khỏi lo lắng. Thế nên trong một buổi trường phân công làm tình nguyện, em đã đề xuất việc thu gom rác thải ở con đường dẫn vào trường học

Hôm ấy là ngày thứ bảy, không khí của mùa thu thật dễ chịu, trời xanh mây trắng, ánh nắng ấm áp chứ không hề quá nóng. Điều ấy khiến chúng em ai nấy đều cảm thấy vui vẻ và hứng khởi với công việc sắp tới. Theo sự phân công của lớp trưởng lớp chúng em chia làm bốn nhóm, mỗi nhóm mười người, tự phân chia nhau đem theo chổi, bao đựng rác và đồ hốt rác, với tinh thần hăng hái bạn nào cũng tự giác mang theo dụng cụ đầy đủ. Đồng thời chúng em cũng chú ý đội mũ, mang khẩu trang và mặc quần áo dài để công việc diễn ra được thuận lợi. Lớp chúng em lần lượt đi dọc con đường nhựa dẫn vào trường để thu gom những chai lọ, túi ni lông, giấy rác,... rồi bỏ gọn vào vào túi đựng rác, sau đó đem tập kết vào chỗ có thùng đựng rác. Những bạn mang chổi thì nhận nhiệm vụ quét dọn những loại rác nhỏ không thể nhặt bằng tay rồi dùng xúc rác hốt sạch sẽ cho vào túi. Vì làm việc tích cực và hiệu quả thế nên chúng em đã dọn sạch con đường chỉ trong vòng một tiếng rưỡi, khiến các thầy cô vô cùng vui vẻ, khen ngợi chúng em hết lời, rồi dẫn chúng em đi uống nước, coi như là phần thưởng vì sự cố gắng trong lao động và ý thức bảo vệ môi trường



 

Đó là một ngày vô cùng có ý nghĩa với em, dẫu phải nhặt những loại rác bẩn, nhưng nhờ phần công sức này mà môi trường sống, môi trường học tập xung quanh em đã trở nên sạch đẹp hơn rất nhiều. Thế nên dẫu có mệt, nhưng em luôn tự hào vì mình đã làm được một việc có ích.

Vệ sinh môi trường đang là một vấn đề rất bức thiết trong cuộc sống chung của chúng ta ngày hôm nay. Với môi trường học đường thì lâu nay sự "ô nhiễm" là có thực nhưng mọi người lại bỏ quên, và chính học sinh, sinh viên cũng cũng thể hiện ý thức rất kém trong việc giữ gìn vệ sinh nơi trường lớp. Được biết, từ cấp bậc mẫu giáo, tiểu học cho tới đại học, các em học sinh, sinh viên luôn được giáo dục rất kỹ lưỡng về ý thức bảo vệ môi trường sống xanh - sạch đẹp ở mọi nơi, mọi chỗ. Nhưng đáng buồn thay, ở bất cứ trường học nào, những cảnh tượng học sinh, sinh viên không giữ gìn vệ sinh học đường rất phổ biến. Nhiều em vứt giấy, rác vỏ của các bao bì đựng quà vặt, bã kẹo cao su lung tung nơi sân trường, hành lang lớp và nhiều nữa là nơi ngăn bàn, dưới nền lớp học. Việc làm thiếu ý thức này đã gây ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng đến cảnh quan trường học và bầu không khí học tập và giảng dạy, sinh hoạt, vui chơi của thầy cô giáo và của chính các em. Không chỉ vứt rác bừa bãi, nhiều em, nhất là các em ở bạc tiểu học còn vẽ bậy trên bàn học, trên tường… Nguyên nhân của việc các em thiếu ý thức trong việc giữ gìn môi trường vệ sinh học đường là do thói lười biếng, lối sống ích kỷ nghĩ đến quyền lợi cá nhân của một số em. Các em nghĩ rằng, những nơi công cộng như trường học, lớp học không phải nhà mình, vậy thì việc gì mà phải mất công giữ gìn, đã có đội lao công dọn dẹp. Cách suy nghĩ ấu trĩ như vậy thật là thiển cận và nguy hại. Rồi nữa, đó là do thói quen có từ lâu, khó sửa đổi khi ở các lớp học, hàng ngày, mặc dù các thầy cô giáo và ban cán sự lớp phải thường xuyên nhắc nhở nhưng vẫn không thể nào giữ cho lớp học sạch đẹp.

Sáng thứ sáu tuần trước là ngày lao động làm vệ sinh trường lớp. Tổ em được phân công nhổ cỏ ở bồn hoa dưới chân cột cờ. Tổ bạn Hoa thì nhặt rác sau vườn. Tổ bạn Học cùng cô giáo khơi thông rãnh nước chảy. Được phân công, bạn nào cũng hồ hởi với nhiệm vụ của mình. Các bạn làm việc rất tích cực và hăng say. Ai cũng muốn làm thật nhanh thật sạch để được tuyên dương. Các bạn vừa làm, vừa nói chuyện rôm rả. Nắng vàng chiếu vào những khuôn mặt xinh tươi làm cho đôi má bạn ửng hồng. Nhóm em, bạn nào cũng nhanh tay nhặt cỏ, nhặt lá bỏ vào sọt. Em với Hòa cùng khiêng thùng rác, ra tận hố cuối vườn trường để đổ. Chả mấy chốc, bồn hoa đã sạch tinh cỏ dại. Những bông hoa đủ màu sắc rung rinh trước gió vẫy chào như thầm cảm ơn chúng em. Cô hiệu trưởng đi ngang qua, thấy chúng em đang thu dọn dụng cụ lao động. Cô khen: Các em giỏi lắm! Các em làm việc như vậy có vui không?. Một tiếng "Có ạ" đồng thanh vang lên. Bạn nào bạn ấy cũng tự hào vì mình đã góp phần nhỏ bé của mình để cho ngôi trường thêm xanh, sạch, đẹp. Em thêm yêu ngôi trường em. Em nhớ mãi buổi lao động này.

Enviroment is the most important thing for our life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water we drink and is everything we need for our life. But now that most important thing for our life is being polluted and by many different ways. This pollution affects the health of living things. Air is damaged by car and lorry fumes, and power stations create acid rain which destroys entire forests and lakes. When fossil fuels i.e. oil, gas and coal are burned to provide energy for lighting, cooking etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from factories and sewage works, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, killing wildlife and spreading disease. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create such a lot of rubbish! Each household produces about 1 tonne of rubbish every year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and buried in enormous landfill sites or burned in incinerators - both of these actions can be dangerous for the environment. 

But only we can change it and solve it. Pollution can be prevented by thing we do everyday. First we can use recycled paper to help save trees. Second try to avoid buying plas. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plas is to refuse to use carrier bags. If we can’t avoid buying plas bags, we should use re-use plas bags over and over again, until they wear out. Finally we should take your old clothes to charity shops, some are sold. To protect environment we also have to save energy. Use less energy by switching off lights when rooms are not in use, not wasting water; don’t forget to switch off all electric things when they are not in use, use a bicycle or walk instead of using a car for short trips we can save energy, keep clean atmosphere and keep healthy life. Lighting accounts for 10 percent to 15 percent of the electricity bill. However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb and we still trying to invent the new thing to save money as well as conserve the Earth’s resources. 

Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance. 

Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.

Bảo vệ môi trường sống xanh – sạch – đẹp là vấn đề đang được cả thế giới quan tâm. Có rất nhiều hội nghị tầm cỡ toàn cầu hoặc khu vực đã được tể chức để bàn bạc và tìm ra hướng giải quyết nạn ô nhiễm môi trường nghiêm trọng hiện nay. Trong mấy năm gần đây, những thiên tai ghê gớm, khủng khiếp như động đất, sóng thần, cháy rừng, lũ lụt... xảy ra liên miên, chứng tỏ bà mẹ thiên nhiên đang nổi giận và trừng phạt loài người vì những hành vi cố tình xâm phạm và phá vỡ quy luật cân bằng sinh thái.

Ở Việt Nam, ô nhiễm môi trường sống cũng là một vấn đề nan giải vì nó gây ra hàng loạt hậu quả nghiêm trọng. Có thể lấy hai thành phố lớn là Hà Nội và thành phố Hồ Chí Minh làm dẫn chứng để chứng minh cho vấn đề này.

Điều đáng buồn là hiện tượng vứt rác, xả rác ra đường, ra những nơi công cộng rất phổ biến. Đó là hành động thể hiện ý thức bảo vệ môi trường quá kém, thể hiện nếp sống thiếu văn hóa, văn minh. Nguyên nhân của hiện tượng này là do lối sống lạc hậu, ích kỉ, chỉ biết đến quyền lợi cá nhân. Người ta nghĩ đơn giản rằng chỉ cần nhà mình sạch là được, còn những chỗ khác thì mặc kệ. Cho nên rác rưởi, đồ phế thải, xác súc vật chết... cứ "vô tư" ném toẹt ra đường vì đã có đội vệ sinh dọn dẹp. Cách nghĩ như thế là vô cùng thiển cận. Nhiều người nghĩ sai, làm sai sẽ dẫn đến tình trạng rác rưởi đầy đường, đầy vườn hoa, sông hồ, kênh rạch... gây mất mĩ quan thành phố và vô tình tiếp tay cho các dịch bệnh có điều kiện thuận lợi để phát triển, làm suy yếu sức khỏe của con người.

Nếu có dịp đặt chân tới thủ đô Hà Nội ngàn năm văn hiến, chắc du khách sẽ rất ấn tượng về một thành phố của cây xanh, nhưng đồng thời cũng là thành phố của rác. Rác hiện diện khắp nơi: trên đường phố, trên cả những thắng cảnh nổi tiếng như Hồ Gươm, Hồ Tây, hồ Trúc Bạch và lan tràn cả đến những nơi tôn nghiêm như Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám cùng các ngôi chùa cổ kính. Còn bến tàu, bến xe, công viên... thì không chỗ nào mà không có rác.

Ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, vài năm trở lại đây tình hình có khá hơn. Tệ nạn vứt rác ra đường đã giảm bớt, tuy vậy ở các khu nhà dân ven kênh rạch hoặc gần chợ búa ở ngoại thành thì tình hình ô nhiễm vẫn đáng sợ. Rác chất thải "sống chung" với người hết năm này qua năm khác. Chính quyền thành phố đã phải tốn nhiều công sức, tiền bạc để giải quyết vấn đề nhức nhối này nhưng vẫn chưa thể dứt điểm.

Tệ nạn thứ hai là khí thải, chất thải từ các nhà máy, xí nghiệp, cơ sở sản xuất trong nội thành cũng thường xuyên gây ô nhiễm nghiêm trọng. Khói bụi, tiếng ồn, mùi hôi thối... ảnh hưởng rất lớn tới sức khỏe của cả cộng đồng. Tình trạng này cũng đang được cải thiện bằng cách di dời các nhà máy, xí nghiệp... ra vùng ngoại vi thành phố, xa hẳn khu vực dân cư sinh sống và xây dựng hệ thống lọc nước thải công nghiệp đúng tiêu chuẩn an toàn.

Một vấn đề nhức nhối khác là nạn "lâm tặc" phá rừng và việc đồng bào vùng cao khai hoang làm rẫy cũng góp phần không nhỏ vào việc phá rừng. Chủ trương đóng cửa rừng, giao rừng cho dân quản lí... hầu như rất ít hiệu quả. Nhiều người chỉ nhìn thấy nguồn lợi trước mắt là lâm sản khai thác được từ rừng mà không nhận thức được hậu quả lâu dài. Tàn phá rừng đồng nghĩa với tàn phá cái nôi của sự sống, tàn phá chính cuộc sống của mình. Nạn lũ lụt, núi lở, lũ quét, lũ ống hàng năm cướp đỉ sinh mạng của bao người. Đất đai bạc màu, xói mòn... vì không được rừng bảo vệ. Nguồn dưỡng khí từ rừng càng ngày càng ít đi, ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến đời sống của con người.

Trồng rừng để phủ xanh đất trống, đồi trọc; trồng rừng để tái tạo môi trường sống cho nhiều loài chim quý, thú quý; trồng rừng để tạo vành đai phòng hộ bảo vệ đất đai, mùa màng...

Bảo vệ rừng đi đôi với việc bảo vệ hệ thống sông ngòi và biển cả. Hiện tượng cố tình biến kênh rạch, sông ngòi thành những cống lộ thiên có sẵn để chuyên chở nước thải công nghiệp cần phải chấm dứt để trả lại vẻ đẹp vốn có và sự sống cho chúng. Hiện tượng dùng chất nổ để khai thác thủy hải sản phải bị nghiêm cấm và trừng phạt vì đó là tội ác hủy diệt thiên nhiên.

Rừng vàng, biển bạc không phải là của kho vô tận, khai thác mãi thì cũng vơi, cũng cạn. Con người nếu không biết bảo vệ thiên nhiên thì cũng có nghĩa là không biết bảo vệ chính mình. Cho nên, việc cần làm trước mắt là chúng ta hãy tự giác và nhiệt tình tham gia phong trào làm cho thành phố hoặc địa phương nơi ta ở trở nên xanh – sạch – đẹp. Nếu ai cũng có ý thức bảo vệ môi trường sống thì tin chắc rằng ngôi nhà chung của cả nhân loại là Trái Đất sẽ ngày càng tươi đẹp.
