My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.

My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.

She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

My bedroom is the most comfortable place in my house. It becomes my favorite room since I lived in this house five years ago. Actually it is not too large, the width is just 4 x 4 meters, but it is clean enough. It looks like a small cottage with a bed placed in the corner of this room. The color of the bed cover is pink, so soft and calm. On this bed, there are a pillow, a bolster, and 15 cute dolls that always accompany me when I am sleeping. If you enter to my bedroom, you can see a table and a chair next to the bed as my place for study. You can feel the wind blowing from a big window that always make my room cosy and bright near the bed. You can also see a beautiful garden that is full of wonderful flowers from this window. It can change your bad mood to become more cheerful. At the opposite of the window, there is a large cupboard with Bali’s carving. The carving is so smooth and gorgeous. It looks like a carving in the great temple. If you see around my bedroom, you will find a colorful wall. It is combination of attractive colors like pink, violet and blue. The colors are mixed perfectly and it shows the girlie room. It is also completed with some artificial flowers near the window that decorate my room beautifully. I like to spend my time in this room. For me my bedroom is my little palace.

My school is ten kilometers away from my home, and I go by the school bus every morning. I love to go to school. I learn so many new things at school every day. There are many different subjects I study at school. I study languages like Sanskrit, Hindi and English, and other subjects like mathematics, science and social studies.

My school is very beautiful. There are nice, lush gardens with beautiful plants and trees. In spring time the blooming flowers are a spectacle. My school has a well equipped library, and I enjoy reading books. There are also computers in the school for our use.

I love my school and my teachers. My teachers are very caring. They teach us with a great deal of patience, and they want us to become good and responsible human beings. I want to make my school and my teachers proud of me.

Last but not least, reading books is a also a form of entertainment. The first school plays an important part in the impression of a child. To me, it’s Nguyen Thai Hoc primary school that grow me up. It is located at Ba Cu street, which is always busy in rush hour. I remember the first day going to school, I spend much of my time discovering the school instead of fear or newness to surrounding. There are a great number of classrooms equipped with new desk, wood table, large board, fan and modern projector. On the yard, there are many big evergreen trees, which provide shade to avoid the heat of summer. Terminalia catappa and flamboyant are two main kinds of tree in school area. Especially, in summer, the flamboyant blooms red flower and the student always pick and put it in a notebook so as to keep memory of their school. Besides, the school is known for its educational quality with a group of well-qualified and devoted teachers. At school, the student has a chance to acquire thorough knowledge of all subjects. Therefore, everyday going to school is happiness. Since we not only study in friendly environment but also play in cosy atmosphere. Although I no longer learn at the school, it obtains a lasting impression about my childhood with good friends.
