In my family, I love my grandparents most. When I was a kid, my mother often sent me to the grandparents’ house when she was busy at work so I almost spent all my childhood beside them. My grandfather is in his eighties but he is very powerful. In every morning, he goes to the park to do exercises with his friends. After that he goes to the market to buy some fresh food to prepare breakfast. My grandfather was a chief while he was working in military so his cooking skills is more than perfect. I especially love Ha Noi foods that he often cooks in the Sunday mornings when I come to see him. He has a sense of humour since he always tells us funny stories or guides to cook the dishes during the meal. My grandmother is 75 years old. She’s weak and no longer sagacious. However she could recognize my footstep when I’m coming. I talk to my grandmother about everything. She listens without saying a word and just give me necessary advises. I can’t imagine how my life will be without my humorous grandfather and my gentle grandmother. I love them so much.

Tuy nhiên bà có thể nhận ra tiếng bước chân của tôi khi tôi đến. Tôi kể cho bà nghe mọi chuyện của mình. Bà lắng nghe không nói một lời nào và chỉ đưa ra những lời khuyên cần thiết mà thôi. Tôi không thể tượng tượng được cuộc sống của mình sẽ thế nào nếu thiếu đi người ông vui tính và người bà hiền hậu. Tôi rất yêu họ.

People normally have a honeyed relationship with their mum and dad. However, I am the exception. If my grandma is a kangaroo, I should be the little one inside her bag. We have such chummy relationship because I live with her since I was a newborn baby.

My grandma has short, curly and dense hair with black pearl color even though she is nearly 80. She loves laugh especially on jokes I made. When she is laughing, her eyes look a pair of rainbow. Because of her optimis personality, my home is harmonious and full of laughter all the time. I was affected a lot by my cheerful grandma. At my young age, she taught me that it is good to be brave, follow your heart and never give up no matter there is any difficulty discouraging you. For example, when I feel disappointed with the poor examination result, she would give me a hug with a sweet smell of rose came from her favorite hand cream, however, said with fish smell (as she loves eat fish so much)

She just a farmer who keeps nurturing the positive power on me as time goes by. Grandma is thin, short and always wears ancient clothes. Her outfit may make her look weak but she is actually a capable woman who built a shell protecting me from those "monsters". I should have no worry as someone always stays behind me during my hard time.

My grandma is a hardworking person and also the expert of making noise. When I was fighting with my assignment, she made some "background music" that kept drawing my attention. Except non-stop talking with her microphone voice, there was "ti ti dik dik" noise which came from my grandma's slippers because she was walking a busy puppy along the corridor for doing housework.

The bond between grandparents and grandchildren cannot be described in words. Grandparents do not only inculcate good habits and moral values in the kids but also become their best buddies when it comes to having unlimited fun. While the parents try to provide all that they can to their kids for their all round development, their growth is incomplete without their grandparents.

It is seen that grandchildren possess many of the traits of their grandparents. You might have noed them behaving exactly the same way at times. Interestingly, it is not just the case with those who stay together but also with those who hardly get a chance to meet each other. This is because kids inherit some of their grandparents' traits by birth.

Unfortunately, the growing trend of the nuclear families has limited the contact between the grandchildren and grandparents and both tend to miss out on a lot owing to this. Parents must take out time and take their children to their grandparents' place every once in a while to maintain the bond or call them over to stay. If meeting doesn't seem possible as often then it is suggested to help them stay in touch with each other via phone or other means.

Last weekend, I and my family went to the country because we want to visit my grandma and grandfa. So, We drove for 3 hours. I and my sisters were happy because We went here about 5 days- a long time. Then, I and my cousin in the country went swimming in the local stream and went fishing here. Sometimes, We flew the kite and run around the village. And, 3 days ago , we visited Ha Nam Ninh farm. Yesterday, I and my family went home. I think the trip is fun and interesting.

      There are many people in my family, but perhaps the person I love the most is my grandmother. My grandmother is over seventy years old this year. Her hair is white as clouds, proving she is old. Her complexion was black, because she had worked so hard to raise her children. Her limbs were wrinkled to represent her late afternoon. She is a farmer. So most of the day, she worked in the fields. So busy, but she still takes the time to take care of me. When I'm sad, she is the one who comforts me. And even when I am happy, she is also the person by my side to congratulate me. I love my grandmother so much, if I have one wish, I will wish she would live forever, to take care of my children and grandchildren.

I arrived in Da Nang at 4 p.m on Friday.Uncel Hung met me at the bus station and took me home on his motorbike. 
I've been to some places such as the Valley of Love,Bao Dai's Palace,Prenn Waterfall... and tomorrow uncel Hung is going to take me,to the Hill of Dreams and the Flower Garden.In the evening we sometimes walked around Hoa Trung Lake and the city and tasted some Da Nang specialties. 
I feel very happy and enjoy myself very much.Everyone here very nice and the food here is delicious.I'm going to return next Sunday 13 rd and will phone you when I get to the bus stop home.

Amidst the immense mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Dalat, a beautiful town, captivates all those who have been there once. I am one of those.

Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring. Flowers of all colors, with many species, the most numerous of which are orchids. More than anywhere else in Vietnam, Dalat sees flowers vie with one another in blossoming in spring. I used to get up early in the morning on fine days to welcome dawn on the highlands. Opening the windows, I had a breath-taking view of nature, and enjoyed the fragrance of wild flowers carried by the clouds, I felt relieved in my heart.

In the late afternoons, I often reserved for visits to the Valley of Love and Sigh Lake covered with quiet pine forests. Twilight on Dalat also brought many pictures and sensations. As a certain poet said, “Dalat is the city of honeymoon, the city of love”.

After two week is rest in Dalat, my health improved a lot. I think in the very near future Dalat will be Switzerland in the South-East Asia. The wind rustling through the pine forests, the roar of waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the clatter of horse ‘s hooves…all of these unforgettable memories always remain with me.
