My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has beautiful and long hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only she can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

When it comes to enjoyment, what I find the most interesting is to go traveling to different places and try the local cuisine there. In my journeys, I was strikingly impressed by many kinds of food, one of which is crispy pancake - also known as Banh Xeo. The ingredients to make flour mixture include rice flour, coconut cream, turmeric, onions and salt, mixed with water. The batter is then added into a frying pan brushed with vegetable oil and forms a thin pancake. After about two minutes, the cooker will scatter some pork, shrimps and sprouts on half of the cake then fold it in half to cover the filling and cook for thirty seconds. The dish is often served with traditional sauce made from fish sauce mixed with lemon, garlic and chilli. An interesting feature about Banh Xeo is the way people eat them. The pancake will be cut into two to three pieces and rolled in sheets of rice paper together with some lettuces. The roll is dipped into the prepared sauce, which creates a stunning combination of flavor. In one bite, customers can feel the crispness, a little bit sweetness, fat and freshness of the vegetables and just want to eat more. To sum up, coming to Vietnam, if you want to explore the culinary culture here, Banh Xeo will be an amazing experience that should not be missed.Next, my favorite drink is Coca-Cola. It is a carbonated, sweetened soft drink and is the world’s best-selling drink. A popular nickname for Coca-Cola is Coke. I often drink Coca to meet my thirst. In addition, I also drink it when eating fast or greasy foods like fried chicken, French fries, hot pot dishes,… Although Coca is delicious, it is harmful to health. If you drink a lot, you will be deficient in vitamins, obese, prone to cardiovascular diseases,… Coke is bad, but I still like its taste. Therefore, I only drink when I really crave it. You should also not drink this type of water too much to avoid harm to your health.

If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.

Vietnam is famous with its traditional and delicious dishes. All of them easioly bring to anyone's mouth indeed, but as myself, I enjoy spring rolls best.

Spring rolls are lightly fried rice - paper rolls, smaller and crispier than Chinese egg rolls but more flavorful. They are filled with highly seasond morsels of crab, shrimp, chopped vegetables, onion, mushroom, vermicelli and eggs. To prepare them, place the above mentioned filling on a thin rice pancake, roll up then fry.

Finally, spring rolls, when fully prepared, are wrapped into somes kinds of fresh vegetables, then doused in fish sauce. My mother ussually cooks spring rolls for me, espeicially on important days in year, such as Tet holiday. When I eat them, i feel all of my mother's love that she reserves for me.

To me, they're the most speicial dish in this world.

My hobby is playing games. However, I’m not addicted to the game at all. I only play games when I’ve done my work. The game that I often play is League of Legends. This is a game that requires high strategy and flexible finger manipulation. I often play games with my friends. We split into teams and fight each other. When we play the game we become closer. Playing games helps me forget about the pressures in school. In order to play a healthy game, I only play 1 hour a day. My parents also know my gaming goals so I agree. On my 15th birthday, Dad bought me a computer set for my study and entertainment games. I to play games but I also know the balance between playing time and studying. If you can do that, the game is not bad.

I started riding when I was eight or nine. For my very first lesson, my instructor had me ride English style. That was the first and last time I rode English style. My instructor, John, said that I was a natural and that he wanted me to try riding Western style because it was more challenging. After my first lesson, I always rode Western. Once I got a little bigger, I started putting the saddle, harness, reins, stirrups, etc. on my horse. I made sure that it was comfortable for the horse as well as safe enough for me to ride. I always rode the same horse. Her name was Dixie and she was my best friend. I’ve always had trust issues, but with Dixie, I knew she would never let me fall. She trusted me as well, which made me never want to get down. Dixie was a beautiful horse. She was a black horse with a white blaze on her head. Unfortunately, she passed away not too long ago, but I know she will always be with me. I love her more than anything. Riding a horse is kind of riding a bike. You never forget how to ride. If you are as small as I was when I first got on the back of a horse, you might feel a little nervous. You have to show the horse that you trust them, and your fears will disappear.

1Badminton is a racquet sport. People play it by using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. The most common forms of badminton are singles (with one player per side) or doubles (with two players per side). So there are two or four players. There are three games in a badminton match. A player wins a game when he/she scores 21 points first. A badminton match lasts for 45 to 75 minutes. High school entrance and spacious,the two sides is the flower corridor leads straight to the playground and the classroom. School Grounds are wide, around the yard Poinciana trees and ancient shade cover, with flower beds and lawns green. Listed under the tree row of stone for us to read books and talk after each lesson. The classrooms are full of tables and chairs, cabinets for learning and also exhibited the post office corner, nice arle. In addition, you also have the other classrooms as music room, computer science, library, classrooms English. I even loved the school because here we have good friends and the teachers are always interested to teachand impart knowledge to us. I loved my second home!

I am studying in a gifted school of a big city, so my school is a very interesting place to talk about. We have about 20 classrooms which are divided into three stairs, and they are not including rooms for teachers, canteen, sport and computer rooms. All of our classes are equipped with computers, projectors, microphones, loudspeakers, and some of them even have air conditioners. Next to the classroom block is our library. It is pretty big with a lot of books, and sometimes I think that it contains all of the books that one student may need. Behind it is our mini indoor stadium, where we spend our Physical education classes. Since most of the area is used to build rooms, we have very little place for our school yard. It is only enough for us to sit really close to each other to salute the flag on every Monday. There are just some big trees on the yard, and we have some benches under those trees to rest and enjoy the fresh air. Most of the students stay in their classrooms or go to the canteen during break time since we cannot play anything on the school yard. Fortunately, the canteen is big and comfortable enough for us to spend a good time. There are many different kinds of snacks, drinks as well as chairs there, so we can sit there while eating our favorite food. Because this is a gifted school, studying hours can be very stressful. We need to study for about 8 hours a day, and summer vacation only lasts for a month. Although we have to try really hard to be good enough for the school, I am sure we will miss it very much once we graduate.

People say that book is the endless source of knowledge, and luckily my favorite activity in my free time is reading books. I read many different kinds of books, such as science fiction, documentary, and horror stories. I live in two different worlds, the first one is my daily life, and the second one in is in the books. I can spend hours reading about a thrilling adventure, a remarkable discovery, or a magical journey. I find those details become more and more realis when I am deep in to them, and I can experience another fascinating world. Among many books that I have read, my favorite series is Harry Potter. The story is about a little wizard with his great journey to destroy the dark force. I have been reading books since I was a kid; therefore I have a rich imagination and plenty of ideas about almost everything. Everyone has his or her own hobby, and I am glad that I spend my free time and my mind on something that is very helpful.

My hobbies are listening to music, watching films and travelling. I love many kinds of music; especially, when I fill myself with the sorrow, I love the songs which can share my sadness. I also watching some US sitcoms such as: How I met your mother, Once upon a time, Sabrina. Additionally, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places with plentiful cuisines and nature, especially walking along the beach in the dusk that make me comfortable and peaceful.

 One of my hobbies is listening to music, especially English songs. My hobby started when I was a first – year student at Da Nang University of Technology. I spend much time on it. I can listening when I am doing my housework such as clean the floor, wash clothes, wash dish…or when I sleep…I love Taylor Swift, Rihana…they are great singers. I can learn English vocabulary when listening to English songs and it also make me feel relaxed.

I think it a good hobby and I will never stop it.

He has a group of friends at school, and together they create the Detective team. He solves a lot of difficult criminal cases under the name of detective Mori Kogoro – a not very good detective and also his friend’s father. Doraemon is one of my favorite comics, written by Fujiko Fujio. This is a famous comic book, adapted into many diferent kinds such as animated films, plays and short stories. The main character is Doraemon cats from the 22nd century to help Nobita, the lubberly boy. His duty is to help Nobia overcome troubles by using magical decorations. In addition, Doraemon and his team including Nobita, Xeko, Chaien and Xuka also join in the adventuous journey to the new land that is exciting and also dangerous. Through the pages, we see a beautiful and pure friendship. The first time I read Doraemon was in the second grade, since then, the book has been with my childhood, creating beautiful memories.

My hobby is collecting books. I collect books whenever I have more need for some books. I collect many kinds of books such a love story books or textbooks I am learning at school, you know, Maths, History, Geography, Biology: and books about nature. I buy books from a bookshop near my house, and some other stores. I also get books from my friends. I collect books because I would to learn from books.  They help me broaden my knowledge. In the future, I try to make my collection larger. I would open a book store of my own.
