In my daily life, I have several hobbies such as cooking, surfing, listening to music and so on. However, I like reading books the most for some reasons. Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. I actually like comic books because they contain lots of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields. For instance, I can know more specific culture of each country in The World’s Cultures book. In addition, I can know more things about different life of various animals that are living around the world in the Discovery of Animals World book. Finally, reading helps to enhance my vocabulary in both Vietnamese and English language. In Vietnamese book, I can learn many traditional folks or proverbs that help me understand more deeply the beauty of my mother tongue. About English books, I can improve my English reading comprehension skill in study. Besides, my communication skill with the foreigners will be better, too. In conclusion, I really like reading books, for it brings many good things to me. I see it as an useful activity to learn how to make life more meaningful and beautiful.

My hobby I like most is listening to music. I started listening many kind of music when I was a little girl.
I like many kind of music, especially I am interested in the US - UK songs. Thus, I studied English to understand the meaning of the songs I have heard. At first, I listened country music. They were quite slowly and it was quite easy to hear and understand them. Now, I can understand most of all the US - UK songs I have heard. That's so great!
I have usually spent my free time to listen the best songs. I like listening to music because my soul is relaxed when I listen.

Let me tell you about my family. I live with my mum, my dad and my big sister. We live in Ho Chi Minh city. My mum's name is huong She's short and slim, she's got long, black hair and brown eyes. She's a teacher. My dad's name is nam He's tall and a little fat! He's got short brown hair and blue eyes. He works in a bank. My sister lan is 14 and she loves listening to music. She listens to music all the time! She's got long brown hair and greeen eyes. I've got long hair too. We've got a pet dog, Kiki. He's black and white and very friendly. I love my family very much.

If I get the chance and nothing unusual happens, I would to start playing basketball soon. This is a sport that fascinates me a lot and after 4-5 months when I will finish my graduation, I will start playing this game on a regular basis. In fact, some of my neighbours already play this game every evening in a nearby basketball playground and all I have to do is start playing with them.

They are very close to me and they’ll definitely welcome me to join their team. I will need to buy a pair of sports trousers and shoes and spend some money to start playing it. Actuality the expense is very low and that wouldn’t be a problem for me to start the activity.

Though I often watched this game on television or in our local playground, I never played it myself. Maybe I was a bit anxious about the performance or skill of mine in this game and that’s why I have not started it yet. I planned to start playing it when I was in grade 9, but because my family had to move to a new city, I could not start it.

This is a game that fascinates me and since I often watch it on television, I have a great passion for it. Two of my previous attempts to start playing this game were ruined and I feel somehow that has enhanced my interest in this game even more. I need to shape my body and I found it would be a great game to do so. That’s the most important reason I want to start it as soon as possible.

I would to take up mountain climbing. Last week I saw a television program about this hobby and I feel really excited. I it because I adventures, and mountain climbing looks a bit risky. Also, when I climb I can look at the scenery at the same time. In addition, I love being outdoors and discovering nature. I plan to start this hobby next month when I have summer holiday.
