Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Ky Cung – Ta Phu temple is one of the biggest festivals in Lang Son province. It annually takes place on the 22^nd through 27^th day of the first Lunar month. This festival is held to pay our respects to Than Cong Tai, a head of district who had merit of opening Ky Lua Market to trade with Chinese from the 17th century.

The parade route runs from Ky Cung temple to Ta Phu temple. Local people dressed in colorful and traditional clothes paraded around the city. People go to temples to pray for a better health and a happy life.

Almost families along the streets celebrate big parties and invite guests to have lunch together. Every house also makes offerings, especially a roasted big pig. There are many folk games. The festival attracts many visitors even foreign tourists. This is one of the biggest and most important festivals in Langson.

Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, …and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. I'm going to tell you about Tet or the Lunar New Year holiday - the most important celebration for Vietnamese people.

On Tet holiday, everyone comebacks home to reunite their family. They buy gifts to give their family and their friends. Market has many types of cakes, fruits, food and flowers to serve for Tet. Special 30th December Lunar calendar, family is sitting around cooking fire to cook Banh Chung – a type has in Tet, and wait for and welcome new year. Start a lucky year, they gives lucky money together, its name’s Li Xi. Houses are decorated and painted and people buy news clothes to visit near relation. Tet is occasion to visit graves and meet old classmate. Tet has many festival; for example, flower, fireworks… and has many games; for example, Bai Choi, Dap Nieu Dat… In conclusion, tet is the time for people to understand and occasion to relax after they are assiduously working and make close relation.

Hanoi is a dreamy city has been infatuated human heart. Besides the noise and busyness, that is the poetic and peaceful beauty. From long time ago, Hanoi was famous for thirty-six streets… Each street is a village, has unique characteristics unique. In general, people here are very elegant, open-minded and friendly. Ha Noi is the capital of the socialist republic of Viet Nam. The center of culture, politic, economy of the country. It’s the largest city in Việt Nam, it lies on the red River in the north center of Viet Nam. And it has a population about over 6 million people(as 2008) Ha Noi has become the capital of Việt Nam since 1010. Its name has changed several times. The capital was first called Thang Long, then Dong Do , Dong Kinh, and finally, it has been called Ha Noi since 1831. Ha Noi is situated in a tropical monsoon zone with two main seasons; dry season and wet season. The dry season last from October to April next year. It’s cold, cloudy and occasionally rainy. The wet season last from May to September. It’s hot and heavy rain, even storms. Ha Noi is exciting and peaceful capital. Hanoi still maintains many ancient architecture. Including : The old quarters and over 600 pagodas and Temples. One of the famous places is The one Pillar Pagoda; The Quoc Tu Giam temple Literature, Hanoi Opera House; Precedent Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. And now, there’re a lot of big famous buildings as My Dinh stadium; Ho Tay water park; National conference center. Ha Noi has a lot of green trees, parks, lakes, Which are lungs of the city, keep the air clean and fresh. However, Ha Noi has problems with traffic and pollution. Only over 6 million people but there are 4.5 million motorbike and car. Traffic jams occur. There’s a lot of smoke and dust in the air. So the air isn’t really clean. Moreover the price and service is a bit expensive, so many people don’t like living here. Apart from these problems. Hanoi is still a beautiful place to live and to work and I like living here.

     Vietnam has many beautiful and attractive places, but the one I want to go to the most is Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh. It has been recognized as a World Natural Heritage by Unesco. And it is also recognized as the most famous and beautiful natural heritage in Vietnam. It has many beautiful islands, especially Tuan Chau. Ha Long Bay has a vast and immense coastline. The sea is very beautiful. And there are deep caves. If there is a sea, there will certainly be boats: sailing ships, yatch,..... Not only that, the evening in Ha Long is also very wonderful. We can go to the amusement park and play a lot of games. The roller coaster, the spin, the light from the flashing lights, it's all great, isn't it? There are a lot of things that I want to explore in the Bay Ha Long. I want to sail around all the islands. And I want to venture, explore dark and terrifying caves. I also want to try the delicious and wonderful seafood dishes. I want to go to Ha Long even once in my life, to see the place recognized as the most beautiful place in Vietnam.

Every year during the summer holidays, my family often goes on holidays. One of my favorite places to visit is Dalat. The short paragraph tells about a beautiful scene that I know The scenery is very beautiful, the air is cool, fresh and there are drizzle drizzling. The evening weather will be chilly. Dalat has many beautiful flowers and very poe lakes. Surrounded by lawns, rows of green pine. How amazing the winding winding roads in rolling hills looks! Occasionally there are horses standing on the banks of the lake to graze for people to take souvenir photos when they come here. I really the view of Dalat, it's peaceful and calm a picture. Every time I come to this place, I feel really comfortable and totally comfortable.

was a Friday morning and all members of the family got up quite early to get ready for the trip. We hired a car and drove for about two hours to arrive in Hai Phong province then got on a ferry to reach the destination. In spite of feeling a little bit tired, we got really excited when the beautiful coastline and sparkling blue ocean appeared in front of our eyes. We booked a family room in a 3-star hotel, which was pretty large and luxurious. The first activity we were so eager to experience was swimming. Unfortunately, the waves were too big for us to swim but it was fun to jump over them anyway. At night time, it was great to take off our shoes and wander along the coastline. The wind carried the distinctive smell of the sea, giving us a sense of peace and relaxation. Early on the next day, I woke up at 5 o’clock to follow my mom to the local market. We also hired bicycles to get around and explore the neighborhood, as well as find a souvenir shop to buy some gifts for our friends. On the last day in Cat Ba, my family took part in a small trip around Lan Ha bay by boat to immerse ourselves in the spectacular natural beauty here. The most interesting experience we had on the holiday was enjoying dinner on a boat. Eating fresh food on the sea when the sun came down really went beyond my expectations. After three days, we returned home but could not forget the great time we spent there. It was definitely one of the best memories of mine and my family members’.

Last summer, I went to Cua lo with my family. We went there by  car, it is very far from my house, it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one we felt better when we saw the sea.

Cua lo beach is really interesting, the beach is very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand. Waves are very strong, you will be very excited when you play with it. There are  a lot of beauty spots,  and good seafood there

We stayed in Binh Minh hotel. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea.

The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea was cool and clear, because it was very windy in the afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. My children was excited about it. The food was extremely delicious but not very expensive.

We took a lot of Photograps of the sea, bought a lot of seafood especially octopus and some sea present for our relatives.

After a week in Cua lo beach we felt happy and stronger.

We hope to go there again.

Hanoi, the beloved capital, where I was born and raised. Hanoi has many beautiful landscapes but my favorite is West Lake. It is a place where I and many tourists come here are amazed. Dawn to the sun shines down on the sea like a beautiful, pink coat. Each passing breeze shook the willow trees. The surface of the lake is also agitated. The ripples rushed ashore as if playing the drowned game. Noon, the lake surface was sparkling, clear, green. The space around the lake is only the sound of the rustling wind of the ancient doctors, Phuong Phuong is looking down at the lake. At sunset, West Lake looked like wearing a yellow shirt. Young girls with long dresses are posing to save the beautiful picture! I love and be proud of my beloved homeland!
