4. Talk about yourself

My name is Quynh. I’m from Vietnam. I live in Quang Tri Province, Hai Lang District. I was born in January 14^th 2005. I’m 12 years old. I go to Hai Lang Secondary school. I like cycling most because it gives me freedom. I don’t like playing games because it's not good for our health. In my free time, I often learn on hoc24. After school, I often play badminton with my friends or just read book and listen to music. My best friend is Anh because she is funny, polite, kind and active. My favourite subject is Art because I like drawing. My favourite kpop group is BTS because their songs aren`t just cheesy love\break-up songs, but instead touch some really important subjects - youth, temptation, education, death. Their choreography is always on point, their relationship is good, too. I have one brother. In the future, I’d like to become a tour-guide. I like it because of the following reasons. Firstly, being a tour-guide, I can have a chance to travel to many different places in our country as well as around the world. I will know a lot of people and their cultures. Secondly, because I am fond of eating, I will be able to enjoy many kinds of food such as pho, sushi from Japan, curry from India and spicy soup from Thailand. Finally, it is a hot career nowadays and people can earn a lot of money through this job. To sum up, to be a tour guide is the best choice for my future job.

My family has 3 people, including dad, mom and me. My father is 42 years old this year, he is working in an electrical factory. Dad has a tall, muscular body and dark skin because he spends a lot of time in the sun. Dad has a few gray hairs because he has to earn money to take care of the family. My mother is 40 years old and sells clothes and jewelry. Her mother's body is petite, with shoulder-length hair, round eyes and rosy lips. As for me, I'm 17 years old and still going to school. I have curly hair unlike my parents. My height is not very tall, but I'm quite good at studying. Even though my parents are busy, they still care about me, often buy me clothes, food, and often take me out. I love my parents very much, and I will try to study so that in the future I can take part in the work and take care of my parents.

Thân hình mẹ nhỏ nhắn, với mái tóc ngắn ngang vai, đôi mắt tròn cùng đôi môi hồng hào. Còn em năm nay 17 tuổi vẫn đang đi học, em có mái tóc xoăn không giống bố mẹ, chiều cao của em không được cao lắm, nhưng em học khá giỏi. Mặc dù bố mẹ em bận bịu nhưng vẫn quan tâm đến em, hay mua quần áo đồ ăn cho em, và hay đưa em đi chơi. Em rất yêu bố mẹ, và em sẽ cố gắng học để mai sau có thể đỡ 1 phần trong công việc và chăm sóc bố mẹ.

Our family consists of four members, three of them, my mother, my brother and me. My father is farming day by day. But one thing is that when I wake up my daddy is at work. My mother works as a day-care teacher and child teacher. Sometimes free time helps my father do the same thing. My brother and I are students. My brother is a student and I am a junior high school student. On our holiday we were having a warm and happy evening with each other. Many days off we organize picnic or travel.

gia đình chúng tôi gồm 4 thành viên đó là ba , mẹ , em tôi và tôi. ba tôi làm nghề nông ngày ngày ra đồng. nhưng có 1 điều là lúc tôi thức dậy là lúc đó ba tôi đã đi làm. Còn mẹ tôi làm nghề giáo viên hằng ngày chăm sóc trẻ và dạy trẻ. đôi lúc rảnh rỗi thì giúp ba tôi làm việc đồng ánh. Còn tôi và em tôi là học sinh. There are 6 people in my family. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the second oldest of my brothers and sister. My Dad goes to work everyday from 8 am to 8 pm. His job is to communicate with Vietnamese people. My mom doesn’t work outside the home. She stays home and takes care of the house. She also raises the kids and cooks everyday. My oldest brother is 23 years old. He doesn’t work or go to school. He just stays home and only does the things he wants to do. He also spends a lot of money that dad earns. My younger brother is just the opposite. He is 18 years old. Everyday he goes to school and sometimes he goes to work. He also helps my parents when he has free time. He had diploma from high school and now he is enrolled in the University. My parents are proud of him very much. Finally is my sister is 11 years old and a cute girl. She is in the fifth grade. I think she is a very smart girl. I love her and my parents very much.
