Read the following passage. Find the five mistake, under the mistake and write the correct words.

Australia Day is on 26th January every day=> year . It's a nation => national holiday in Australia and it's the country's most important date=> day . The day celebrates the greatest things in Australia culture- the history, the land , the people and their most important achievements. It's also an opportunity for people to think of the future of Australia.

People organized thousands of fantastic events all over the country. January is the hottest month in Australia because lots of events are outside. In Sydney, the biggest city in Australia, the day starts 5.30 a.m with a barbecue breakfast. Then there is a traditional ceremony of Aboriginal singing and dancing. In the afternoon, there are boat races, concerts, fair => fairy and special sports competitions.

The day ends in fireworks. There are hundreds of huge fireworks displays=> displaying all over the country. The biggest display is in Perth, Western Australia. Almost half a million people watch the fireworks display from the side of the Swan River.

If you look at the map of the world you will see that Australia is the fifth continent. It is the smallest continent and the largest island on the map. Australia is also an English - speaking country Australia is very far from Britain and it has a seasons climate, the coldest winter month is June. It is cold in the south ođ Australia and hot in the north.

New Zealand is not far from Australia, but it is very far from Britain. When it is the middle of the night in Britain, it is the middle of the next day in New Zealand. The weather in New Zealand are also different to what they are in Britain.

Australia is the only country that fills an entire continent. It is the smallest continent in the world but the sixth largest country. Australia, called the island continent, is totallt surrounded by water. The island continent is, in large part, a very dry, flat land. Yet it supports a magnificent anf unusual collection of wildlife. Australia is a land of oddities. There are many unusual animals and plants that cannot be found anywhere ellse in the world. Because the island continent was separated from the rest of the world for many years, these animals developed in different ways. Many of the animals in Australia are marsupials.
