Cooking has been my hobby for several years. My grandmother taught me how to cook my first dish when I was 8. She was a professional chef and owned her own restaurant. Some people say cooking is a waste of time but I find this hobby very interesting and meaningful. Whenever I feel sad or upset, cooking ease that for me in a big way, because I will have very little time to think when I am cooking. The cooking is challenging my mind and taking my mind off the stress of everyday life. Another advantage is that it enables me to expand my creativity. I have invested hours of my time per day to be more knowledge about different cooking methods. I hope I will become a good chef and have my own cookery book in the future.

One of my favourite hobbies is playing sports because being physically active brings a lot of benefits. First of all, doing exercise reduces the chance of diseases such as diabetes, obesity, heart diseases,... I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime. In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

My hobby is playing games. However, I’m not addicted to the game at all. I only play games when I’ve done my work. The game that I often play is League of Legends. This is a game that requires high strategy and flexible finger manipulation. I often play games with my friends. We split into teams and fight each other. When we play the game we become closer. Playing games helps me forget about the pressures in school. In order to play a healthy game, I only play 1 hour a day. My parents also know my gaming goals so I agree. On my 15th birthday, Dad bought me a computer set for my study and entertainment games. I like to play games but I also know the balance between playing time and studying. If you can do that, the game is not bad.
