Perhaps the days of Tet with many children in the market are the days when they find joy and enjoyment. But Tet holidays are what they expect more than ever. My New Year's Day, Tet holiday in a market is really meaningful and memorable to start a new year.
Spring comes, Tet has knocked on every house, joy is doubled and happy. Children are waiting for New Year more than adults. Adults are happy for Tet but there are many things to worry about, buy more things and spend more money. But children do not care about that, because Tet is a chance for us to have more new clothes, to receive lucky money, gifts for cakes are not finished and we do not have to study. Perhaps that is what every child enjoys.
I don't know how Tet is in other places, but Tet in my hometown is always full of laughter and blessing each other for a happy new year, giving off fortune.

Because digging and signaling Tet to spring, there are new peaches that have Tet flavor. On the 30th, the 1st, every house has a faint smell of incense and aroma. Every year, my mother kept making delicious dishes to her grandparents and ancestors every two days. Mother said that on the New Year, grandparents would go home and eat meals with their children and above all to reunite. Mother told the New Year to be good, the adults had lucky money so no children were harassing and mischievous on the Tet holiday.
New Year's Eve is probably the night that most people in the neighborhood of my family's home market wait for. The sound of fireworks exploded, loud cheers and good wishes to each other. I still remember the most significant New Year's Eve last year, and my sisters struggled to pick up locals at the top of the village. The leafless children of the fig tree, until the next morning saw the tree was tattered. Please be happy!

Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ

The festival always fascinates people with tons of exciting activities such as cooking sky rice, decorating houses, as well as paripating in games that are held from places to places. Tet is also the time for family reunion, when people are off from work and can vist relatives, friends and colleagues frequently. Additionally, this is also the occasion for people to show gratitude to their ancestors as well as wish kids good fortune by giving them lucky money.
