Walking while listening to the pop music made it easy for Janet to love her daily exercise program.
“I walk at least three kilometers, sometimes six or seven kilometers” Janet said.
After a year of regular walking, Janet decreased more than ten kilos in her weight. She continues to
walk as her main form of exercise.
“Walking doesn’t require expensive equipment but you need a good pair of walking shoes”. Janet
says, “Walking isn’t difficult to do. It takes you about half an hour to walk or jog daily. It is easy for
everyone in a busy life.”
Weight loss isn’t the only benefit of a walking program. Regular walking helps lower cholesterol,
reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, increase bone strength, and improve blood circulation.
