b) \(\dfrac{x-1}{-12}=\dfrac{-3}{x-1}\)

(x-1)²=-3.(-12)

(x-1)²=36 

⇒(x-1)²\(\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x-1=6\\x-1=-6\end{matrix}\right.\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x=7\\x=-5\end{matrix}\right.\)
