1. I stayed in your hotel from 24 April to 30 April in room 415.

2. On arriving home, I realized I had left a book in my room.

3. I wonder if it has been found and handed in.

4. It is a small hardback book with a blue cover called 'Gallions Reach' written by H. M. Tomlinson.

5. I am very anxious to get the book back because it is now out of print and it is difficult to find in bookshops.

6. Also the book was given to me by the author whose signature is on the front cover.

7. I enclose a cheque for $2 to cover the cost of posting it back to me.

8. If unfortunately, you don't find the book, please return me the cheque.
