There are so many traditional festivals in my country. They depend on the area and they are different according to the season, people ect….
One of the most important festivals in the North where I live is the Mid-Autumn festival. People celebrate this festival every 15th of the 8th Lunar month when the moon is full. That’s why it has another name of the Moon festival. This festival is for children, so their parents often buy them many sweets, moon cakes and lanterns. This is an occasion for parents to show their love to their children. In the evening of that day, children go along the streets with their candlelit lanterns and sing songs together. In some villages, there are music shows where children sing songs and dance. There are lion dances in the streets in some other places. The atmosphere is wonderful.
