 Do an experiment. As a class, create a list of ten random words. Then get into two groups.

Group 1: Remember the words on the list by reading them.

Group 2: Remember the words on the list by signing them.

Use any song you know. Cover the list and say the words in order. Count the number of words people in each group remembered correctly.
