My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting: useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; interesting because the books can give you the joy and help you relax after a day of toil etc... Especially, when you join the forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest you.

I love books and also natural as reading books. At the age of ten, I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first of book that I have been. I read it does not know how many times (Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again). My love for books begun.

I usually spend almost of free time in choosing the book with my friends, participate in dicussion on the forum and reading (of course!). Every weekend and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read books and ruminate on it. I also help some friends can select the genres of books that they like.

I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.

In my opinion, life in the city as well as in the countryside has its own benefits. Personally, I prefer living in the countryside.
In the first place, life in the the countryside is much more peaceful in the way that it gives people a chance to relax and feel at ease.
Secondly, the air is so fresh and pure in the countryside. Besides, there are so many beautiful sceneries there such as woods, mountains, rivers, ponds and lakes... For that reason, many people choose the countryside as their refreshment site after tiring days at work. Moreover, rural people are very friendly and hospitable. You are always welcome to their place. They make a living by farming and breeding cattle and poultry. The food there is always fresh and delicious.
Lastly, life in the conutryside is very peaceful and good for our heath.
If someone asks where I would rather live, my definite answer is the peaceful and happy countryide.

Mid Autumn is a special Festival in some countries of Asia in general and VietNam in particular. In fact, Mid Autumn is festival which intended for children. In VietNam, this festival springs from legend : The moon and a kid. The legend explains how the moon is shinest in mid autumn and why people see a banian tree and a kid on the moon. The moon is called Sister Moon and the kid is Cuoi.

Mid Autumn begins from 14 to 15 August, in Vietnamese lunar calendar. In these day, children are going to pick the lantern up and go around streets or towns. Children will be given gifts such as pie, candy, star lantern... They will be seen lion dance or musical concert. Almost children are really into seeing lion dance and follow it that go everywhere. Some children bring a small torch that includes oil and rag to burn. And others bring clarinet and drum to make the festival more eventful.

However, mid autumn festival is also festival for business. The streets have many stores that sale pie, cake. This is occasion that many people present cake each other. Fables are short tales that usually feature animals (real or mythical) given human-like qualities to deliver a specific moral or lesson. Many fables originated from an oral tradition and exist in every culture, but the most famous 'writer' of these fables is Aesop, a Greek slave believed to have lived around 560 BC. Of course, many disagree whether or not he actually wrote all, or even some of the fables we identify as 'Aesop's Fables' today.

Not to be confused with parables - those are the instructive tales featuring human characters we associate with the Bible and other religious texts. One of the most famous fables of the West, and often attributed to Aesop, is the story of 'The Tortoise and the Hare'. If you don't remember the plot, the speedy hare and the slow tortoise take part in a race. The hare, sure of his victory, decides to take a nap under a shady tree. The hare oversleeps, the tortoise wins, and we are reminded that 'slow and steady wins the race'.

You don't have to look far for modern-day fables: from George Orwell's Animal Farm to many of Theodor 'Dr. Seuss' Geisel's children's books. For example, Dr. Seuss' story, The Lorax, teaches us that natural resources are precious and finite. At one point, the Lorax even says, 'I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues', which is also the function of a fable.
