The Hung King Temple Festival is on the 10th day of the third lunar March in Phu Tho Province to celebrate the Hung King’s death. A procession starts at the foot of the mountain, and stops at every small temple before reaching the High Temple. Here, pilgrims offer prayers and incense to their ancestors. The foods include rice cakes and five fruits. There are a wide range of folk games including bamboo swings, rice cooking competitions, etc.
