Many people in the contemporary world tend to focus on the future schedule rather than every moment at the present in their life. While I accept that this idea has a wide range of advantages, I believe that they should keep balance on the roles among the future and the present.
On the one hand, there are lots of accounts for encouraging individuals and society to concern more about the future days. Firstly, it is believed that with limited natural resources, the government should forecast the future and set up a plan for allocating it appropriately at the present. For example, if they do not measure the predicted time for forest to recover after being deployed by human, the future society might be lack of raw material for the paper industry. Furthermore, when each individual has their own long term goal, they are more likely to obtain a successful career. This is due to the fact that they are willing to ignore the comments of others to accept a job with a low paid at the present to acquire essential skills which are beneficial for their prospective employment.
On the other hand, the objectors support that people should still live for the present instead of being worried about the future. Obviously, if the government do not solve effectively problems in the current society such as starvation, domestic violence and terrorize, national security are likely to be put in danger. As a result, the national sovereignty will be felt into the hands of the enemy. In addition, future is something which is unpredicted exactly. A person might not have an opportunity to live in the tomorrow since they could get accidents or serious diseases and possible death occurs at any moments. This is the reason why they should enjoy every cheerful moment at the present.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that future plan is important for every people, but it is by no means they should ignore the precious value of the present.
