Under the theme ‘Preserving and promoting cultural identities of the Thai ethnic group in the country’s renewal and integration process’, the event will draw the participation of eight provinces: Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Son La, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa.

Numerous activities will take place during the three-day festival, including art and culture exchanges, sports games, and exhibitions to promote tourism and the cultural heritage of the Thai ethnic group.

The event aims to honour the Thai ethnic community’s culture in order to preserve and promote the culture; 54 Thai ethnic groups are spread across the country with a diverse but unified culture.

The communities will have the chance to exchange experiences and improve the awareness of local authorities and residents about preserving and developing Vietnamese culture for the country’s sustainable development.
