Math (toán)
Among many subjects student learns in school, I like math the most. This is one of the compulsory subjects from primary to high school ad even university. Math teaches learner about numbers and operation. Being good at math brings us several advantages. Doing math exercise improves one’s brain and its brainstorm. Moreover, people learning math can think more logically and make up one mind. There are many subjects we can apply mathematics to solve the problem: economics, engineering and even business. Math is said to originate from ancient Greece and develop completely as today. In VN it’s an increasing number of mathematical genius such as Ngo Bao Chau. Therefore, Vietnamese are very proud of it. In my opinion, every student should be good at math or at least learn it. Since human gain lots of achievement related to math, specifically in modern society.

Trong những môn học ở trường, tôi thích nhất là môn toán. Đây là một trong những môn học bắt buộc từ tiểu học đến trung học và thậm chí là đại học. Toán dạy chúng ta về những con số và phép tính. Giỏi toán mang lại cho chúng ta nhiều lợi thế. Làm toán cải thiện não bộ. Hơn nữa, những người học toán suy nghĩ logic hơn. Có rất nhiều lĩnh vực có thể áp dụng toán như kinh tế, kĩ sư và trong buôn bán. Toán được cho rằng bắt nguồn từ người Hy Lạp cổ và phát triển đến ngày nay. Ở VN ngày càng có nhiều những nhà toán học hay thần đồng toán học như Ngô Bảo Châu. Bởi thế, người Việt Nam rất tự hào về điều đó. Theo tôi, mỗi học sinh nên học giỏi toán hoặc ít nhất là biết đến toán bởi vì con người đạt được rất nhiều thành tựu rực rỡ từ toán, cụ thể là trong xã hội hiện đại.
Literature (Văn)
When going to school, there are many subjects; however I still like literature the most. First, literature plays an important role in both education and daily life. Literature is not limit to a subject to be learnt at school. Furthermore, this subject teaches human about several aspects of life. From the very first step, student learns to write, read as well as describe things and people. Moreover, literature teaches one to be a responsible citizen and likeable personality. Literature is more than a subject, it’s an art and it can be applied directly into life such as: journalism, writing skill. People are not born to learn this unique subject, it needs long time to exercise to master. Besides, when learning literature people not only know more works of art but also understand culture, tradition of each country. Literature is the mirror reflecting human and their lifestyle. Studying literature means learning the way to love and live a true life. All in all, with great benefits of literature, it is necessary for each society especially developing countries.

Có rất nhiều môn học ở trường những tôi thích nhất là môn văn. Đầu tiên, văn đóng vai trò quan trọng trong học tập và đời sống. Văn học không chỉ giới hạn trong một môn học ở nhà trường mà rộng hơn nó dạy con người về mọi mặt của cuộc sống. Từ những bước đầu tiên, học sinh học viết, đọc và mô tả đồ vật. Hơn nữa, văn dạy chúng ta trở thành một công dân trách nhiệm và người có phẩm chất tốt. Văn học hơn cả một môn học, nó là một lĩnh vực nghệ thuật có thể áp dụng vào cuộc sống như: báo chí, kĩ năng viết. Con người không tự sinh ra để học môn này, nó cần thời gian luyện tập. Ngoài ra, khi học văn con người không chỉ biết về nghệ thuật và còn am hiểu về văn hoá, truyền thống của một quốc gia. Văn học là tấm gương phản ánh con người và lối sống của họ. Học văn có nghĩa là học cách yêu thương và sống cuộc sống đúng nghĩa. Nói tóm lại, với nhiều lợi ích của việc học văn, nó thực sự cần thiết cho mỗi xã hội đặc biệt là các quốc gia đang phát triển.
