Dalat Flower Festival is a cultural festival which takes place every other year in Da Lat city, Lam Dong, Vietnam and some other localities in Lamdong province. The festival is held with the purpose of exhibiting flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants from the local as well as other regions within the country and many other countries in the world in order to attract visitors to come to Dalat, promote economic development of the city. Dalat Flower Festival is also an activity honoring the value of flowers and floriculture, calling for investment in Dalat flower industry as well as promoting a positive image of the city, the culture and the people of Dalat.
I attented Thuong Temple festival last month. It’s a seasonal festival in Lao Cai city. It is held on the 15 th of the first lunar month. Local people made offerings of incense to worship General Tran Hung Dao who defeated the Mongok 3 times. Besides, there were many activities such as: shpping, playing traditional games, singing, dancing, … Many local people and townritsfrom all over the country attented the festival. This is an occation for us to show our love to our motheland and preserve our cultural traditions.
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
Two years ago. I attended 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi festivel. It is a seasonal. It was argonized in Ha Noi - Viet Nam millions of people come here to enjoy this great festival. It was held for ten days from actober 1st to october 10th. I was interested. I took so many pictures on this festival. There are a lot of activities in this festival such as fireworks display, parades and music performance... It is held to Vietnamese heroes tn the history of Ha Noi. I think this festival is the greatest festival I have atteded.

Hello!My name is Minh. Today, I want tell you my favourite festival. My favourite festival is Hallowen .It popular in the USA and Europe. It starts in 31st October every year. People here wear strange clothes at Halloween.In the evening many young children went other house on the door and shout trick or treat. Then the neighbours give them some candies.Some peolple buy a pumkin at Halloween. They cut holes in it to my eyes, a nose and a mouth. They put a candle in it to make a lantern with scary face, and it called a'' Jack O'Lantern''.People are not really scared at Halloween. For me, I like this festival very much
