HGH (Human Growth Hormone) could be the favorite drug at the next athletic world championships, and we might never know it. It is a natural substancr produced by the human body, and it helps children’s bones and muscles to grow. Scientists are allowed to make the drug and it is also legal to take HGH in most countries. HGH is considered a wonder drug for children. It helps many children with growth problems every year.
However, some athletes are now taking the drug. HGH helps add muscle in adults and recent research by the World Anti-Doping Agency shows that HGH may improve the sportsman’s time by 5% when he takes part in short, fast races. Some athletes say that HGH surely makes them stronger. It also helps them to recover more quickly from injuries.

Although it is banned by most professional sports, HGH is almost impossible to test for. The drug is completely natural and it will only show in tests for around 24 hours after taking it. Testing is usually done only during competitions, but athletes use HGH during training, so it is very difficult to know who has used the drug. This makes it very attractive for some athletes. Scientists are developing a new test which will find the drug in the body for up to two weeks. But it isn’t going to be easy. Everybody has different levels of natural HGH in their body.
For this reason, scientists are warning athletes of the possible problems with the drug. Research shows that HGH increase the risk of cancer. But is this enough to stop athletes from taking it? Scientists don’t think so. Some athletes will do all they can to win, and worry about their health later.

HOBBIES IN THE PAST

Like fashion, hobbies change with the times. In our days, a lot of hobbies use techonology: we take dugital photos and post them online and children play computer games . But what did people use to do before this technology? Let's take a look at some hobbies that were popular more than 100 years ago.

Many of the sports that we play today were popular in the past, too. Football became popular and had rules for the first time in the 19th century. Many football clubs were started by enployers, so that workers could play and stay fit. Football was a man sports but both men and woman played other sports, like tennis and croquet. Unfortunately, the long skirts worn at the time didn't help woman with their games at all.

Many girls and woman spent their spare times doing sewing and embroidery. They used a needle and thread to make tiny stitches on a piece of fabric. They made clothes and accessories such as scarves and gloves. They also made home decorations. They created beautiful pictures of flowers, birds and other patterns. They also used to embroider cushions, tablecloths and rugs.

Girls in the 19th centuey used to play with dolls and doll's houses. At the time, toys were handmade. The doll's heads were often made of china and the bodies were made of wood. Rocking horses were also very popular. They were made of wood and their tails were made of real horsehair. Boys used to play with toys trains and railways.

Finally, people in the 19th century loved nature, so one popular hobby was colllecting and drawing butterflies. People used to catch butterflies in nets and fix them on special boards with pins. They used to draw pictures that showed all the details and colours of the beautiful insects.

Past or present, hobbies are a great way to pass the time. They help us show our creativity and used our imagination.

On weekdays, I don't have much free time. When I get home from school, I usually do my homework, watch some TV or read a book. My parent bought me a new guitar for my birthday so I play that a lot too.
