Mình góp ý với bạn ở câu đầu tiên:
. Về cấu trúc get used to phải là get used to doing chứ không phải là get used to do
. Về mặt nghĩa thì get used to sẽ diễn tả trạng thái sắp quen/ chuẩn bị quen nhưng câu này lại diễn tả thói quen trong quá khứ nhưng không còn ở hiện tại ( vì có when he was a small boy ) nên ta phải chia là used to do.
