In Vietnam, almost everyone, has been a volunteer work and I have too. At my age, I have not been donate blood so I often donate books, toys and clothes for street children and homeless people. I often do this work with my mother. Latest here on Sunday, I with my mother was used to donate books and clothes for a charity organization. In here, I met the orphans children. I played with them. Then I gave candies to them. They were all very happy.

Some people think doing volunteer work is waste of time but in my opinion, doing volunteer work help me relax after school and it help me healthy. When I doing this work, I feel very happy to bring happiness to them

Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. It's a great way to help other people. It's also very satisfying to know that you are not wasting your time and are helping people who need help.
Many of us could and should be out there doing voluntary activities of some kind. So many volunteer organizations need extra hands. It really is easy. Just pick up the phone and offer your services.
I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer.
I've found it really opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit.

Volunteering is important for numerous reasons which benefit both the community and the volunteers themselves. When someone donates a handful of time, the difference made is tremendous and it can shape a community for the better while the experience improves the person who have donated the time.

Volunteering is a kind of activity what makes a community because it brings people together to work on a goal. Whether it is a fundraiser for the research to cure a disease affecting the whole world, or to help a local family who has fallen in a time of calamity, volunteers do make it happen. Community life is improved by aiding others and lending a helping hand to get a job done more efficiently. More people working means less work for each person and saving time for the project. So when it comes to getting the job done, like a community clean up, the more the merrier.

When a person donates their time, they give hope to someone who needs it. If a local family’s house burnt down and a group of people hosted a benefit for them, that family’s faith would be revived when they realized that people care for them. Although that family lost their house and their assets, seeing how their own community wants to help would bring them joy and show them that money isn’t everything.

A volunteer also benefits themselves because they get to see how their contribution has made a difference. This experience contributes to personal development especially in some areas such as self-fulfillment, self-confidence, and self-esteem which often flourish in the midst of volunteering experiences. The selfless act of volunteering also provides a spiritual enhancement. Knowing that you made a positive impact on someone is an emotionally uplifting experience that can never be matched by money or fame.

Donating time now will also help in the future. Volunteering strengthens present skills and also shows an employer that an effort has been made to make an improvement. Such skills include communication skills, ability to work with others, ability to take direction and lead others, time management and dedication. Employers will realize that as a volunteer you must be able to prioritize your schedule so as to devote time for activities that benefit others. When employers see active volunteer work on a resume, they are much more likely to employ that person rather than someone who doesn’t do voluntary work. Employers know that most people who offer their time are conscientious, honest and hardworking individuals.

These are just a few reasons why volunteering is important. Not only does it bring hope and happiness to people, but it also leads to spiritual and personal growth. It is an experience that cannot be bought with any amount of money.

Early versions of the “Ao Dai” date back to 1744 when Lord Vu Vuong of the Nguyen Dynasty decided both men and women should wear an outfit of pants and a gown that buttoned down the front. What wasn’t, until 1930 that “Ao Dai”appear similar to what it looks today. Now, Men wear it less, generally only on ceremonial occasions such as weddings or funerals. During the 1950s two tailors in Saigon started producing “Ao Dai” with raglan sleeves. This creates a diagonal seam running from the collar to the underarm. This style is still preferred today“Ao Dai” is made individually to fit each customer’s shape to create the most flattering look.

For one, we spent the entire week prior motorbiking through the rural villages of Central Vietnam. An other best things to do in Hoi An is to walk the back streets along the canal, behind the pretty touristy restaurants. We took the original Hoi An Food Tour and just loved it. Even though we were quite familiar with Vietnamese food, we still learned a lot from this tour. The local insight is great and you’ll be sure to fill up on some excellent food. Hoi an is home to some of the most beautiful hotels and resorts in the world. You can stay closer to town or in the rice paddies with nature.

Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. Vietnam is famous with its traditional and delicious dishes. All of them easioly bring to anyone's mouth indeed, but as myself, I enjoy spring rolls best. Spring rolls are lightly fried rice -paper rolls, smaller and crispier than Chinese egg rolls but more flavorful. They are filled with highly seasons morsels of crab, shrimp, chopped vegetables, onion, mushroom, vermicelli and eggs. To prepare them, place the above mentioned filling on a thin rice pancake, roll up then fry. Finally, spring rolls, when fully prepared, are wrapped into some kinds of fresh vegetables, then doused in fish sauce. My mother usually cooks spring rolls for me, especially on important days in year, such as Tet holiday. When I eat them, I feel all of my mother's love that she reserves for me. To me, they're like the most special dish in this world

During the 1950s two tailors in Saigon started producing “Ao Dai”with raglan sleeves. This creates a diagonal seam running from the collar to the underarm. This style is still preferred today

“Ao Dai”is made individually to fit each customer's shape to create the most flasttering look. Its body-hugging top flows over wide trousers that brush the floor. The pants should reach the soles of the feet and flow along the floor. Splits in the gown extend well above waist height and make it comfortable and easy to move in.

Comfortability is always taken into account for fashions and beauty. Tailors must be skills so as to ensure the wearer has freedom of movement. Despite it being a long robe, “Ao Dai” is cool to wear. Synthetic or silk fabrics are best to use being they do not crush and dry quickly. For this reason “Ao Dai” is a practical uniform for daily wear.

The color can show the wearer's age and status. Young girls wear pure white, fully-lined outfits symbolizing their purity. Older but unmarried girls move into soft pastel shades. Only married women wear “Ao Dai”in strong, rich colors, usually over white or black pants. “Ao Dai”is rarely seen in places where manual work is practiced. In the nineties the Ao dai become popular again. It has become standard and common attire for female students as well and staff at offices and hotels. Ao dai nowadays is very popular with different designs and colors. “Ao Dai”has become the most preferred dress for formal occasions and traditionally ceremonies.

Today, “Ao Dai” has been modified. Its length is cut shorter usually just below the knee. Variations in the neck, between boat and mandarin style, are common. Adventurous alterations such as a low scooped neckline, puffed sleeves or off the shoulder designs are appearing as ladies experiment with fashion. Access to new fabrics have made for some interesting design most visitors to Vietnam admire local tailors' skills when making ao dai. It is hard to think of a more elegant, demure and charming outfit, that suits Vietnamese women of different ages, than Ao Dai.

Bat Trang, a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers south east of Hanoi center, on the other side of Chuong Duong Bridge.

Why is its name popular to most tourists to northern Vietnam? The answer is its ever famous ceramic and pottery products of high quality. Should you would like to contemplate workers making ceramic products by hand, just come here! What’s more, you can also try it yourself!

Bat Trang village is said to be established in 14th or 15th century in several documents. However, according to the villagers, the village perhaps appeared earlier. There are always two stories concerning the village origin.

One of these tells that under Ly dynasty, in 1100, when the nation was in its independence and initial growth period, there were 3 scholars who came back from their mission trip to China bringing the ceramic craft industry learned there back to Vietnam and taught the people of Bat Trang.

In the other story, in the village history dates back to the 10th century, when King Ly Cong Uan relocated the capital in Thang Long. With the establishment and development of the capital, many businessmen, crafters from many areas come to settle down here to work and trade. In Bat Trang, there was a lot of white clay, so that many potters, among who was Nguyen Ninh Trang family, came and built the kilns here.

Accordingly, Bat Trang has gradually changed from a normal ceramic and pottery village into a famous ceramic and pottery centre until now.
