Every day many road accidents happen in big cities. Some accidents cause injures but some lead (1) death. Everyone, especially children, must learn how to cross the road. A simple code to remember is "STOP,LOOK AND LISTEN BEFORE YOU CROSS"

When you go out alone, however, what is the best way to (4) the road? First you must find a safe place to cross . These may be subways, footbridges, zebra or green man crossings.
