One of my best friends at school is Thông, a student whose class is the same as mine. As far as I remembered, we met at school on a sunny day of the first 6th-grade semester. He is such a naive boy, with his humorous jokes, he always makes the class laugh cheerfully. Until these days, I haven't figured out the main reasons why we are so close to each other, maybe his jokes bring us together, or my thoughtfulness over his childish way of thinking, who knows, one day the time will show me the answer or I would have to find my own. A praiseworthy point that I like about this humorous boy is that he has a different perception from others. He always thinks of alternative, pioneer, and cutting-edge solutions to a math problem. He always finds a way around the school projects and never stops trying to make them perfect. As a friend, I do respect his opinions over topics but sometimes, he is way too protective with his ideas. I guess that is a point that he needs to alter over time because I can't force him to change his own thoughts.
In the end, a friend is a piece of our life stories and we should respect the friendship as much as our own family.
