In the middle of the schoolyard, I planted a very large oak tree. It's like a resilient soldier, despite the rain and wind to guard the school and us.
This tree is very old. Heard the security guard said that, since the school was first built, the tree was already there. Therefore, the tree is very tall and massive. than the school's three-story building. The trunk is so big that three students can hug it. The crust is rough, rough, ridged in large grooves. The canopy is shady enough for my whole class to sit down there. The tree canopy is taller than the school's three-story building. In the summer, we like to play in the shade of the tree the most.
The leaves are quite big, about twice as big as my hand. The leaves are thick, glossy green, can be used as a fan or as an umbrella. In autumn, the leaves turn orange-yellow, red and then fall to the base, leaving the tree bare. To wait for spring to come, the tree again blooms many new buds, covering the thin trunk.
The beauty of the eagle tree changes throughout the four seasons. Each season has its own interesting thing, but I always love it. I hope that the eagle tree will always be so lush, accompanying our school for many more years.
