There are six peoples in my family: my grandparents, my parents, my elder brother and me. My family lives in HCM City. My grand father is thin and tall. At the age of seventy, he still looks hale. He usually plants trees in the garden. My grandmother has grey hair and looks strong. She often goes to the market in the morning. My father is an engineer. He works in Southern Institute of Water Resource Research. He is very strict. He always gives us some useful advice about study. My mother is a nurse. She is very cheerful and helpful. She is sociable and gives thoughtful care to patient. In particular, she cooks very well. We like to eat some of her dishes. My elder brother is an architect. He works in an interior design company. He is very hard-working and energetic. And the last member is me. I'm an engineer, too. I have just graduated from university for six months. I work in a construction company. I am witty and helpful, but obstinate. We are very happy together. I love my family so much and it is an integral part of my life.

3/My house was built six years ago. My house has three floors and nine rooms: a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, four bedrooms, a bathroom, and a toilet. In the living room, there are a sofa, an armchair, a computer, and a television set. There is a bedroom on the ground floor of my parents. It is a small and comfortable room. In the kitchen, there is a gas cooker, a china cabinet, a microwave oven and a washing machine. There is a refrigerator. A ceiling fan, a big table and chairs in the dining room. On the first floor, there is two elder brothers' room and mine. Finally on the second floor, there is ancestral worship room and a terrace where we often hold parties. We usually meet one another in the living room for lunch and especially for dinner. We often talk about everything: work, study, news, and so on. After dinner, we often watch television in the living room. We are happy together. My house is rather old but I love it so much. I have had a lot of wonderful memories and it is a part of my life.

The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ

Gris is my little sister. She never gives me my space. She always find something to make me angry. On the other hand, my older sister, Rita gives me my space and I am grateful for that. Rita is an energetic woman, and is a helpful person, and she is very reliable.
To begin, my sister, Rita is an energetic woman. For instance, she always wake’s up at 5:00 a.m., and exercises for 15 minutes in her bedroom. She works from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., teaching first grade students at an Elementary School. She has 36 little and pretty students, and she works very hard with them, and she never gets tired or mad if they do not understand something. She goes back home and revises her students homework. She goes and walks for one hour at the park in her neighborhood and listens to the radio with her headphones. After she has a long and hard day she goes home and relaxes and get’s ready for the following day.
Besides being energetic, she is a helpful person. For example, she helps me to understand my Composition and my Reading lessons, whenever I need or ask for help. Also, she helps me to do my homework. We study and do our work together, spending hours on it. She also helps me with exams because she is older than me and she is a teacher, so she helps me to understand the subjects and I help her to be a better teacher.
Most important, my sister, Rita is a reliable person. For instance, she keeps my secrets when I tell her about them, and I am sure, she does not reveal any secrets to anyone else because she is very honest. I know I can trust her, because last year I was going to school and I was taking Grammer. I was not doing to well and I ended up failing my mid-term. I was so scared to tell my mother so I told my sister Rita. Until this day she has not said a word. Also I ask for help whenever I have problems. If it is with my little sister or with my boyfriend or any other situation. For example, my boyfriend and I got int...
