As I approach the island on which my dream house awaits, I catch a quick
glimpse of it. It is huge, and is the most noticeable building in the area. My
private plane lands on the air strip next to the house. I get out of the plane
and start my journey through a heavily wooded path leading to my dream house.
I walk with anxiety toward the house at which I will spend the rest of my life.
All around me lie the most beautiful trees and plants you have ever seen. It
is peaceful but you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and small forest
creatures frolicking in the under brush. As I continue to walk along the path
the end starts to appear. I now see my house for the first time up close.
Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I was about to experience.
My house that I designed is all I imagined and more. It is a four story
dream on a huge fifteen acre lot. As I approach the stairs at the entrance to
the house I am surrounded by four columns leading to the most elegant doors I
have ever seen. They are made of mahogany and have a stained glass window in
the center. The handles and the frame is made of brass. As I continue around
the house I come across three windows overlooking the entrance to the house.
There are black shutters on each window. As the porch continues to the south
side of the house I am now looking over the Pacific Ocean. A huge eight foot
picture is facing the same way I am. As I look down and observe the ocean I
see two piers jutting out into the Pacific. On either side of the piers are
huge boulders protecting the coast line from erosion. The house's walls are
made of stucco and it has an old fashion shingles that are a clay color.
As I walk into the back yard I am surrounded by the best things a man
could ever want. Well not quite everything! But a lot of things. I walk
toward the road and I first come across a basketball court. To the left of the
basket ball court is a tennis court. There is a bar in between the two to take
a break at between games. On the opposite side of the yard there is an in
ground swimming pool that is connected to the pool inside the house. As my
journey comes to a close I notice a white gazebo off to the east of the house.
It is in a position such that you can see anyone entering or leaving the lot if
you are sitting in it.
As my plane leaves to go home to pack I take one last look at the house.
I think to myself, "Yes this is my dream house, My dream house."

My house would have a library, with my broadband connection, the best of worlds! Connection to a2k and my books!
I'm pretty sure it would have some beams under the roof, just for the cats! They love the beams we have in our appartment! Windows are also a nice cat-feature, our beasts are indoor-cats, so they like to watch what's going on.
I'd have an almost industrial-size kitchen, at least there would be a lot of appliances that I like. And the dining-area would be in the kitchen, which would be big, but cozy. Not forgetting the winecellar in direct connection.
Don't need a livingroom if you have big kitchen! Most of the time I'm private anyway... Have enough people around me in the restaurant.

This is how I will want my house to be like. After passing the front gate, there will be a lovely rose garden. Then, the big white house comes into view. When I walk through the door, a white sitting room with a pink sofa set will greet me. Paintings of beautiful flowers hanging on the walls will make the room look comfortable and fresh.
The three bedrooms will be on the second level. One is for my parents, one for my brother and one for me. I will like my room to be painted pink. Above my bed, I will hang a big picture of ballerina dressed in white. The grey carpet on the floor will be strewn with many cushions for me to lie on and enjoy a novel. I will do my homework at my study table by the window though which I can see the stars at night.
On the highest level there will be an open space which overlooks the sea. It will be used for barbecues in the evening.
No matter how fine this house may seem, it is just a dream.

It's not easy at all for me to describe my dreamy house even in Vietnamese. But I have some words about my dreamy house here. That is a penthouse at the highest floor (the thirtieth floor) of the tower called "The Bay View Towers" lying in Ha Long city. It costs about $ 3.3 million (about 60 billion VNDs). It is one of the most expensive and luxurious apartments in Vietnam, and I think, maybe in Southeast Asia.
It has many modern devices and a very beautiful view to Halong Bay, the world natural heritage and standing on chance to become one of the new seven natural wonders of the world. I will live very comfortably in that house with fresh air, sound sleeps in my bedroom, relaxing baths in the pool and healthy exercises in my body-training room. That's not all. I can go shopping easily by going downstair to where show many products to buy such as food, clothes, other conventional and essential products.
I really don't know how interesting to live in that apartment just simply because I've never lived in it for only an hour and maybe that's purely an unrealistic dream to me. Haha, how can I earn enough 60 billion VNDs to buy one for me ? Even for all my life!
