It was Sunday, the day of the big game. The players arrived early. They were excited. Everyone wanted to play.
There were lots of people in the stadium. They waved and cheered when the players walked onto the ground.
The referee called the captains to the middle. The referee asked, "Where is the ball?" Nobody answered.
All the players looked at the ground. There was no ball. The referee canceled the game.

Fiona Campbell was the first woman to walk around the world. She started her journey in the UK in 1983 and then in 1985 she walked across the USA. In 1988 she went from Sydney to Perth in only 95 days.
On April 2nd, 1991, Fiona left Cape Town in South Africa. She arrived in Morocco 29 months later – a journey of 10,000 miles
Then she walked across Europe and finished her journey in October 1994. She traveled 19,586 miles and raised £120,000 for charity. Fiona also wrote a book about her journey called The Whole Story.

Last year my family went to Greece on holiday. We met a lot of new people and I took a lot of photographs.
We stayed in a good hotel near the sea, and there were a lot of things to do there. Unfortunately, on the first day I had some problems.
I hit my head on the bathroom door and then I cut my finger, so for two days I read a lot of books and played games on my laptop.
After that, I did a lot of things – swimming, sailing, and so on. When we left,
I was really tired! I told Dad that I needed another holiday!
