 Michael Jackson is one of the most widely beloved singers of all-time. He was born in August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. His father, Joseph Jackson, had been a guitarist but had given up his musical aspirations to provide for his family as a crane operator.
 Michael Jackson started in the music business at the age of 11 with his brothers as a member of the Jackson 5. In the early 1980s, he defined his own art form of music video, such as " Billie Jean ", " Beat It " and the epic " Thriller ". Jackson's sound, style and dance moves inspired subsepuent generations of pop, soul, R&B and hip-hop artists.

On June 25th 2009 Michael Jackson died suddenly of a reported cardiac arrest. He was 50 years old.
