Dear Alex,

What are you doing these days? Are you having fun? I am writing just to let you know that I’m having a good time in Hanoi now. There are lots of interesting places to visit here. Last Sunday, Susan and I went for a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi. It is a beautiful oval lake with an ancient temple in the middle of the lake. There are lots of surrounding green trees and great coffee houses. We also visited Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam. This is the first university in Vietnam. After that, we came to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of President Ho Chi Minh – a well-known leader of Vietnam. This weekend Susan and I are going to explore other interesting places. I will write and tell you later. Best.
