My cousin, Chaya, is my best friend for several reasons.
Firstly, if I need to call her at 3 am, she will answer. If I don’t reach her, I can leave her a voice mail and I know she will call me the second she wakes up. She goes out of her way to help me whenever I need it – whether it’s rereading a cover letter I am about to send to a dream job, or picking out the perfect outfit for my date later.
Secondly, jealousy is never felt in our friendship. We’re happy for each other, and we’re always down to celebrate each other’s successes.
Lastly, I’m never afraid to be honest with her, and she is never afraid to be honest with me, even if the truth will hurt.
For these reasons my cousin, Chaya is my best friend.
Of all the people I have encountered in my life, the person I admire the most is my father. the reason I admire him that much is for the simple fact of him being not just my father, my dad.
As a wise man once said "Anyone can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a dad."
I belive not every father can be a dad it takes courage, strength, responsability, patience, acceptance, love, justice, reliability and much more and my dad has shown this virtues in everyday life experiences, in spite of the situation we are in, he never looses himself.
Once I remember I was sick so I had to stay home in bed. Since my dad had a lot of work to do he left early, and told me he would be back late. When he got to the office he called me and asked me how I was doing, i answered I wasn't doing so good, and 15 days later he was back home because he was worried about me. I saw him working at the same time that he was taking care of me. Even though I was only 10 years old, that is when i realized how much time and work he gives up for me.
My dad grew in a close family surrounded by love. He was a person full of questions, but as he grew older, he became wiser in many ways, and it was only a matter of time for him to get the the answer to all these questions.
