My neighbor is a lovely girl, and her name is Xuan. She is two years younger than me, and everyone sees that she is a very beautiful girl. She has a pretty chubby face with bright skin and pink lips. When my mother looks at her, she always says that Xuan looks like Snow White, and sometimes I feel jealous with her. This semester, she started studying at my school, and all of a sudden I took the responsibility to take her to school on my bike. The two of us have a lot of things in common, and I feel that the way to school every morning becomes more interesting. I usually stay in bed late on Sunday morning, but she is always a morning person who wakes up very early to help her dad take care of the small garden in front of their house. At those moments, I can hear my mother voice to call me up to see how good the daughter of that family is. Xuan and I are both the only child in the family, so even though I am always teased by my mom that I am lazier than her, I still love her and consider her as my little sister. I am an active girl since she is a gentle and quiet one. We are opposites, but it is the thing that makes us become close. We have been neighbors for nearly 5 years, and it was a good time for me.
A neighbor who lives next to my house is a kind girl, and I like her very much. Her name is Nghien, she has short hair which is about the shoulders, and her hair is dyed in a light and prominent brown color. Her eyes are big and also have a brown color which suit her hair, and I am asking my parents for permission to get my hair dyed in the same her during my summer break. Every morning when I leave home to go to school is also the time for her to prepare to go to work. She is tall and slightly skinny, but she always knows how to choose the suitable dress for her body. She works in a fashion company so she always looks so stylish, and she also shows me some good tips for combining clothes. Whenever she meets my parents or me, she always has a smile on her face together with a friendly greeting. She is an adult, so she knows how to have a very good manner with every one, and my mother often tells me to learn a lot from her. She likes to plant flowers in front of the house, and she also gave me a small flower pot on my birthday. She cooks well, and she often brings her food to my house. Sometimes I am like a pigeon that transports the mail, because my mother often tells me to bring food to her, and she also send me some food back. Next month she will get married, and maybe she will move out of her current house. I feel very sad to lose a good neighbor like her, but she promises to visit me often. For me, she is not just a neighbor, but I also love her like my older sister.
I really love my neighborhood. It is a quiet, safe place with great neighbors. In short, my neighborhood is nice to live in. My neighborhood is quiet. Even though it has the regular amount of noise of any place, there are many peaceful moments.
For example, after most people have gone to work, you can hardly hear any noise. Of course, when the kids get home, there is more noise; but, it is relatively quiet all day in my neighborhood.
Also, I feel safe in my neighborhood. The police drive around it everyday and the kids play outside with no problems. Since there is not much traffic, we don’t worry too much about cars.
Furthermore, I can walk around my neighborhood without being afraid of someone hurting me. All in all, my neighborhood is secure.
My neighbors are really good people. They watch out for each other and this makes where I live extra nice. If anyone has a problem with their car or even something in their house, a neighbor is usually there to help. One day, I couldn't start my car, and my neighbor asked what was wrong. I explained that my car wouldn’t start, and he got my car going again. This is just one of the many examples of how my neighbors are the best people I know.
In conclusion, my neighborhood is a great place to live. There isn’t a lot of noise, it is secure, and most of all, the neighbors are helpful. There is no place like home and that is my neighborhood.
