Trong nhóm bạn lớp 5C của em gồm có Hiền, Thảo, Vân, Loan, Phương, các bạn trong lớp thường gọi đùa là nhóm “ngũ sắc”. Có thể nói em với Thảo là thân nhau nhất, bởi Thảo học chung với em từ năm lớp Một và cũng là người bạn được mọi người trong lớp quý mến.
Hàng ngày đến trường, Thảo luôn mặc bộ đồng phục theo quy định: váy xanh, áo sơ mi trắng, trên ngực luôn đính phù hiệu màu xanh với dòng chữ thêu rất bay bướm: Trần Linh Thảo 5C. Năm nay, Thảo mười một tuổi, sinh sau em hai tháng. Thảo có vóc dáng dong dỏng, không gầy và cũng không mập, làn da trắng mịn, khuôn mặt bầu bầu, sáng sủa, toát lên vẻ tinh nghịch, vầng trán cao thể hiện sự thông minh bướng bỉnh. Thảo có cái nhìn hiền dịu với nụ cười luôn nở trên môi nên rất dễ gây thiện cảm với người đối diện. Trong quan hệ với bạn bè, Thảo nhiệt tình giúp đỡ nhất là đối với những bạn học trung bình hay yếu kém mà không bao giờ tỏ thái độ kênh kiệu làm cho bạn phật lòng. Vì vậy, các bạn trong lớp 5C ai cũng quý mến Thảo. Đối với thầy cô, Thảo luôn lễ phép, kính trọng. Vói cha mẹ, Thảo là đứa con ngoan hiền, hiếu thảo. Bạn học rất chăm chỉ và luôn là người đứng đầu lớp. Học đều tất cả các môn nhưng Thảo thích nhất vẫn là môn Tiếng Việt. Lúc nào bạn cũng tỏ ra bình tĩnh khi cô hỏi bài. Được cô khen, mặt Thảo thường đỏ bừng, có vẻ e thẹn. Tuy học giỏi được thầy cô và các bạn quý mến nhưng chưa bao giờ Thảo tỏ ra kiêu ngạo, ở nhà, Thảo là một đứa con ngoan hiền, biết giúp đỡ mẹ cha làm những công việc vặt, đỡ đần cho cha mẹ nghỉ ngơi. Cuối năm lớp Bốn, Thảo đạt danh hiệu học sinh xuất sắc.
Cả lớp em, ai cũng quý mến Thảo, quý những đức tính ham học, lễ phép, biết giúp đỡ bạn bè, và sống chân thành, giản dị. Thảo thật xứng đáng với danh hiệu “Cháu ngoan Bác Hồ”.
