Hobbies are the things that we do when we have free time. However, some hobbies are good for us while others are bad. Parents and teachers are very happy when they see their children reading a schoolbook or a library book. But, if their children read magazines, especially about fashion or pop starts, then they say it is a waste of time. There are many electronic hobbies that are also good and bad for us. Chatting online, sending emails and uploading pictures are good ways for us to share information but many people waste a lot of time online and do not concentrate on their work. Too many people turn the volume up so loud that they do not hear what is happening around them. They can have serious accidents when they are on busy streets. There are also some hobbies like photography and computer game design that are very expensive. There are other hobbies like painting, drawing and playing music that are really enjoyable. There hobbies can lead to a good job if we become really good at them.
