The computer-one of the most marvellous (1) invention (invent) in our modern age has proved to be (2) extremely (extreme) (3) helpful (help) to man's life. A computer can not only solve the most complex math problems with lightning speed and prefect (4) accurately(accurate), but also gather the wide range of (5) information (inform) for (6) various (variety) purposes in many fields. Nowadays, the computer always plays an (7) important (importance) role that is (8) unchangeable (change).

Some people believe that soon schools will no longer be (1)necessary. There people say that because of the Internet and other new technology, there is no longer any (2) need for school buildings, formal classes, or (3) teachers. Perhaps this will be true one day, but it is (4) hard for me to imagine a world without (5) schools. In fact, we need to look at how we can use new technology to make schools (6)better , not to eliminate them. We should invent a new kind of school that is linked to (7) libraries, museums, science centers, laboratories, and even companies. Experts could give (8) talks on videos or over the Internet. TV (9) networks and local stations could develop programming about things students are actually (10) studying in schools.

omputer plays an important role in this information era. However, while bringing certain advantages, this high-tech device has its own limitations.
First of all, computer has become a useful tool and an intelligent device in every aspect of life. For example, thanks to Computer and Internet, new technology in medicine is created and applied worldwide i.e. Minimally invasive surgery, microsurgery, and laser surgery. What is more , industrialization could not make its miracle jump without the support of computer and Internet. New constructive materials, new robots, and new fuels are all made with the help of information technology. That is to say computer has made our life become modern, more convenient and civilized. Moreover, computer and Internet is a great means of communication. Distance is no longer a matter of concern when we can send mails within a few seconds or make cheap internet phone call. We can also update ourselves with the latest occurrences in the world with just some simple mouse clicks. In addition, Internet is becoming so popular that having Internet access is no longer a luxury.
Granted that Internet is an indispensable part of life in this high technology era, it has its own limitations. The troubles, however, do not stem from computer or the Internet themselves but the users. The new technology is entirely positive but the users take its advantage for negative purposes. Some people use computers to do nothing but play games, chitchat, spam, create dirty information on the Net. They directly or indirectly detract Internet from its benefits to the community. Many people are scared of using Internet because of their fear of being abused, or spamed. or becoming Internet addicts. In addition, sitting in front of the screen for long hours can lead to obesity, backache, and short-sightedness. Besides, people paying too much attention to online activities may become passive, sluggish in real life because of their lacks of communication, and manual labor.
In short, everything has its two sides, so does computer and Internet. Therefore, it is necessary that we use it for right purposes.

Using computers offers many pros. Firstly, owning to computers we can keep accounts, write personal letters and do our homework. It is much easier and more aesthetic to write something in computer and print it than type or pen. Also, computer can be useful in office. When you use it you have less paperwork and mess. Then your work is more efficiency and organised, so your boss is glad. What is more computers are being increasingly used in medicine. They are very helpful in medical diagnosis, patient monitoring and general hospital administration.
On the other hand using computers has several disadvantages. They are very bad for health. For example screens destroy eyes even with a low radiation screen. Many people complain for that issue, because then they have to pay for oculists and wear glasses. Also there are a lot of viruses which can influence a computer and destroy the data bank. It is a problem for banks and big concerns which store many of information inside their computers.

In conclusion, computers obviously has both good and bad points. We should remember that computers is especially important to the young generation, that’s why young people ought to know how to use new technology keeping safeness.
