Hằng năm, cứ đến mùa xuân, quê em lại tưng bừng mở hội đua thuyền trên sông Long Bình. Sáng hôm ấy, hai bên bờ sông suốt đường đua dài 1000m, kẻ khua trống, ngời thổi kèn tàu, đông vui và náo nhiệt. Đường đua bắt đầu ở một khúc đầu làng em. Dưới sông năm con thuyền đua đã xếp thành hàng ngang ở vạch xuất phát. Trên thuyền, các tay đua là những thanh niên khoẻ mạnh ngồi thành hàng, tay lăm lăm mái chèo. Mỗi đội có một màu áo khác nhau. Đến giờ xuất phát, kèn trống nổi lên thì các chiếc thuyền lao nhanh vun vút về đích. Hai bên bờ sông tiếng hò reo, cổ vũ của người xem làm náo động cả một khúc sông. Đội làng em đã về đích trước tiên. Cuối hội là phần troa giải thưởng, ai cũng có mặt đông đủ để chúc mừng các tay đua.

 

Năm năm trước, tôi đã tham dự lễ hội rất lớn tại Hà Nội. Nó được gọi là 1000 Lễ kỷ niệm Thăng Long - Hà Nội Festival. Có rất nhiều hoạt động trong lễ hội này như pháo hoa trưng bày, cuộc diễu hành quân sự, âm nhạc biểu diễn, ect. Nó được tổ chức rất tuyệt vời bởi vì ban tổ chức là người Việt Chính phủ Nam. Hàng triệu người đã đến Hà Nội tham gia lễ hội lớn này. Đó là được tổ chức trong mười ngày từ ngày 1 tháng 10 năm 2015 đến 10 tháng 10 năm 2015. Tôi thấy rất nhiều pháo hoa, các bên, diễu hành trong những ngày này. Đó là hấp dẫn. Tôi đã chụp rất nhiều hình ảnh về điều này lễ hội vì có rất nhiều cảnh đẹp cảnh. Chúng tôi tổ chức lễ hội lớn này kỷ niệm 1000 năm Thăng Long - Hà Nội.

Hội đua thuyền là nét văn hoá truyền thống của quê hương em. Em sẽ học giỏi, tập thể thao cho cơ thể mạnh để được tham gia hội đua thuyền.

In Vietnam, Christmas has become more and more popular, especially to young people. They prepares and decorates it with colorful electric lights, gifts and and small bells. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. Under the cover of darkness on 25th December night, people often go to the church to pray for best things or gather to share happiness together. In conclusion, Christmas day has become one of the most popular festivals in our country, brings a new color to the picture of a civilized religious culture in Viet Nam

My favourite festival is Christmas. It celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. It is an important festival in theWest. I love this festival because it brings a long holiday to us to enjoy ourselves.Every year before Christmas, my family and I buy some presents for relatives and friends. We decorate our house with a lot of festive decorations. We put up a Christmas tree in the living room and we decorate the tree with little angels, many beautiful bells and some little Santa Clauses. We also place a big star on top of the tree.On Christmas Eve, my sister and I put stockings beside our beds, and my parents secretly put some gifts inside the stockings. I will also put gifts secretly under the pillows of my parents to surprise them.During Christmas time, we have Christmas parties. I have parties with my family, relatives and friends. We prepare a lot of food such as turkey, Christmas cake, chicken wings and sausages. At the parties, I give Christmas cards to everyone and we exchange gifts with each other. Together we sing Christmas carols.

 Christmas is fun. I love this festival very much.

This report shows how the rice-cooking festival was held.

The festival was held in the communal house yard about one kilometer away from a river. There were three competitions: water-fetching, fire- making and rice-cooking. The festival took one day.

In the water-fetching contest one person from each team had to run to the river to get the water.

In the fire-making contest two team members had to make a fire in the traditional way. They tried to rub pieces of bamboo together to make the fire.

Six people from each team took part in the rice-cooking contest. They had to separate the rice from the husk and then cook the rice.

After the three contests, all points were added and the Thon Trieu group won the grand prize. The festival was wonderful.

The buffalo grapple festival is a traditional festival in a few places in Vietnam, but most famous in Do Son in Hai Phong place on August 9th lunar month every year. This festival shows martial spirit of our nation, represents the strength of the Vietnamese people. Two buffalo use two horns of the of thier healthy to fight the enemy. They call them is Mr.Buffalo. Last year, we had a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration with all friends at school on Friday evening, the 15^th of lunar August. In a large yard, we organized amazing activities and competitions such as Mid-Autumn Miss, Funny Quizzes, Cutest Singers and many others. We also made donations to the orphans in the nearby community. The festival lasted 4 hours.
Of all activities, Cutest Singers was the most interesting and unforgettable competition in the festival. Each class in school had two members, one boy and one girl, taking part in the contest. One special thing was that both the boy and girl need to be cute and good at singing. They were all on stage to sing, dance and show their talent. But the funniest moment was when we played blind man's bluff in which the boy had to find the exact girl in his class without seeing her. Finally, the boy and girl of class 8A were the Cutest Singers winners. The Principal awarded the first prize to them. I think the festival was a special occasion for me and all of my friends in school to play a variety of activities and understand one another more thoroughly.

The festival i joined last year was bikaner camels festival. It's held in January every. People celebrate it in bikaner, a city in India. Local people and tourists around the world can take part in this festival. It's celebrated because it's a competiton for camels decorating. During the festival, camels owners will show off their camels. I think it's an interesting festival and you should join it once in your life.
