The flower race on the river in my hometown is held in the first spring of the year. Today, the sky is clear. Hundreds of flowers race each other to bloom under the warm sun. People went to see the festival in large numbers. The two sides of Tra Giang River are bustling. Everyone is looking forward to the race. The racing boats are beautifully decorated, so are the flags. The operators on the boat were strong, muscular and agile guys. When hearing the whistle-blowing effect of the organizers, everyone turned their eyes forward. When receiving the "start" command, the Ao Dai rushes quickly, the riders are quick, non-stop. Water splashed, drums urged “Tung! Tung! Tung "resounds. The audience cheered with applause. Laughter, voices calling each other make the festival scene very lively.
THAM KHẢO:
Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31st. The most common colors of the day are orange and black. Halloween comes from the ancient Celtic festival Samhain. The ancient Celts believed that on October 31st, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the living and the deceased is not clear, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. On Halloween, the ancient Celts would place a skeleton by their window to represent the dead. Believing that the head was the most powerful part of the body, containing the spirit and knowledge, the Celts used the "head" of the vegetable to decorate their houses. On this day people often wear strange clothes as characters in horrible novels or movies to frighten others. People usually like to dress as ghosts, skeletons, or witches. Now Halloween is an official holiday in almost all European countries.

Bat Trang Porcelain Village is a traditional pottery-making village, which is located in the Northern of the Red River, Bat Trang town, Gia Lam district, Ha Noi. The pottery here is made of a special kind of clay – the white clay.
The craftsmen only use their hands to knead the clay into the shape of the bowl, flower vase, etc. Then, they draw lively pictures or patterns on the products and glaze them. After that, these kneaded-clays will be put into the kiln for heating.
The pottery products of Bat Trang Porcelain Village are always famous for the skillfulness, subtleness and the diversity of product’s shapes such as small bowls, large bowls, flower vases, pots, thuribles, etc. Especially, all the handicrafts of this pottery-making village are waterproof and fade-resistant.
The glaze of Bat Trang is also very subtle and unique with the secret recipe, which is handed down from generation to generation. Those values have created such an irresistible attraction and appealing feature for Bat Trang village. This is the reason why this traditional handicraft village can attract so many tourists as well.
TOPIC 2:
Life in modern cities truly causes a lot of nuisances. In the first place, citizens have to deal with traffic congestion every day. This problem is even worse in the rush hour when so many people run out to work and are stuck on streets for hours. Next, high cost of living is also a serious issue in the city, especially in metropolitan cities. More and more people find it difficult to live on their modest salaries when prices are going up all the time. Financial pressure makes city dwellers become constantly stressed and tired. Finally, the polluted air caused by exhaust emissions from millions of vehicles, construction dust and the lack of green trees negatively affects residents’ health. Many people suffer from respiratory problems such as cough, sore throat or asthma. Indeed, city life brings a number of difficulties as well as challenges to its citizens.

Unlike in the old days, we could only learn English through radio books, television and in school. There are many more ways to learn English today, especially through the internet, smartphones and many English learning centers opened up. There is no compulsory method to learn English, but each person must find a suitable way to learn it effectively. Many people will think that learning English is difficult, but what we need to do is get our own way of learning and an effort. Using the right vocabulary and sentence structure correctly requires a long process, but we can always invent new learning methods. We can go to parks or join English-speaking clubs for a chance to speak with foreigners, and that helps us improve our grammar and accent. Books, movies, songs, and newspapers in English are also what help us get used to how foreigners use it. The key to learning English is that we should not try to remember everything in the notebook, but we need to meet and practice it in real life. But learning English can be more effective when we can create our own learning styles.

As far as you know "space" can mean all things that exist, it is a vast space. The space travel is always a hot topic being put on the screen or hit. top-selling newspaper products in the world. You must have seen many pictures of astronauts suspended in the cabin, eating dishes in small tubes such as toothpaste, drinking water in the form of spheres? And you have always assumed that this is the life of astronauts in space, there are some interesting phenomena happening now in the absence of gravity. On the one hand, the fluids in your body tend to move up above your head, so your facial skin will be inflated like a balloon, and the absence of gravity can make you feel disoriented. A trip into space always has fun things, but there are also some issues that make it difficult for you to stay for a while. However, one thing is for sure that the experiences you have in the universe will be ones that you will never forget.
Topic 4
In different countries around the world, there are many countries with different eating habits. So is the Vietnamese. We have a habit of organizing a combination meal, eating together, so members of the meal are related and closely dependent on each other, so we must be careful when sitting and eating. This is a high expression in Vietnamese community life. In the structure of Vietnamese meals, while other dishes are eaten by people, others are not, while rice and fish sauce are used by everyone. Therefore, the cup of gravy becomes a measure of thoughtfulness, measuring the level of human culture. Topic 1:
Tet is a traditional holiday of our country, Vietnam.
It often begins in late-January and ends in early-February. With the meaning of seeing the old year off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese families. At that time, all family members try to come back to their home and get together to make such preparations for Tet as buying new clothes and cleaning their house. A branch of apricot blossoms or a Kumquat tree is indispensable decoration for every family in these days. They seem like a fresh air to the house. We display a tray full of fruits and vases of flowers on the ancestral altar.
Some typical Tet's food are sweets, coconut jam, fruit candies, melon seeds, stew pork with eggs, and especially sticky rice cake. Tet meals are usually bigger and more delicious than our daily ones.
On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family.
In my opinion, I like cozy and fresh Tet atmosphere. All family members gather and talk about resolutions for a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about anything.
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

7. What do you think is the best leisure activities for teenagers? Why do you think so?
In my opinions, community is the best leisure activities for teenager. First, because today's teens are not confident in communicating and living virtual with technology so they have no hobby and do not know how to play sports and they are afraid to meet someone so it can change they more confident. Second, it will make them know more knowledge and more life skills. Besides, it improves health, helps us feel comfortable and acquainted with many new people will help us always happy and not alone when sad and we can share interesting things together and make us have good friendship. Finally, this action will help the world become more and more attached and better in the future. In addition, they will make friends with people who have the same interests as them. For these reasons, I think group activities are best for teenagers
8. Should parents decide how teenagers spend their free times?
In my opinion, parents should decide for teenagers spend their free time sensibly. It must right balance between learning and playing. First, young people can play thirty minutes in their free time after school is finished, during work breaks, teens can play sports such as basketball, football, badminton and so on. They have few friends, free time is not known, then they on facebook all day, it's a waste of time. Second, young people can read books to develop the brain and thinking ability. Third, young people can help their parents with housework in your spare time, or go charity with her parents. Like: People can live in the fresh atmosphere in the countryside. They can go fishing in the river for food. There was so much space so we can run around the fields and shout out loud without disturbing anybody and we will feel so freedom. I like picking fruits like blackberries, apple, mango, etc, and I like do farm work like digging holes, plaiting vegetables, collecting water, swimming in the river and flying kites with new friends.
Dislike: It is inconvenient without shopping centre, supermarket and entertainment centre is miles away. There is also no running water and electricity and it doesn’t excite at all and the life there have a little boring than the city
2.What do you like about the life of nomads?

3.What don’t you like about the life of nomads?
They can’t live permanently in one place and I don’t like doing too much heavy work like herding the cattle and they only have some little food, no food like noodle, hamburger, etc.
The nomads life is not as modern as the life of city, The life in the city is more interesting things.
4.Talk about changes in your neighborhood.
On summer holidays, I often go back to my hometown and I have seen many changes in this rural area over the years. The most impressive change is in education. Recently, there are more schools rebuilt nearby and they are better equipped. This summer, my hometown friends and me enjoy reading different kind of books and comic in the new library. This change make me stay here a lot more enjoy able. Means of communication is the second big change I can see in this area. In the past, the common way to contact somebody far away was to write letters by hand. Nowadays, thank to mobile phone and even social networks, the local can keep in touch more easily. However, the negative change in the environment is something I dislike, Vast paddy fields where the children used to fly kites no longer exist. Instead a new industrial zone appears. Worse, factories in the zone are polluting the river and make it too dirty for us. As I have noted, my hometown has experienced both positive and negative changes. ( My neighborhood has lot of better change in this area than the past).
5. Do you like live in the city in the country or the city? Why?

Thai people have followed this spiritual tradition for generations. The xoe dance expresses people’s working life and wishes for a happy and wealthy life. It is performed in both public and private gatherings such as celebrations, festivals or family reunions. The xoe dance has more than 30 forms based on the first six ancient forms. The most popular form is the xoe vong or ‘circle dance’ because it expresses social unity. People, young or old alike, join hands to make a circle around the fire and dance to the music. Besides the circle dance, there are dances with conical hats, paper fans or scarves.Old people say they shouldn’t break with this tradition it because reflects Thai culture and lifestyle. As a Thai folk song goes, without the xoe dance, the rice won’t grow and people won’t get married. I like this dance.
The Obon dance is a traditional Japanese dance. People have the honour of their ancestors. The Obon festival takes place in mid-August in many regions of Japan and in mid-July in other regions. There are many forms in different regions. The most typical form is circle dance. People make a circle around a yagura, a high wooden stage; some dancers move clockwise, and some counter-clockwise. This is one of the most important traditions. A lot of people come back to reunite with their families during the Obon festival. I really like this dance.
Topic 5: Festival in Viet Nam
*some questions about writing posts (reply): một số câu hỏi về bài viết (tự trả lời)
-What is the festival? -What time this festival take place? -Who worship in that festival? -What activities in that festival? -Do you like this festival? Why or why not? 4. How important is the traditional festival to our in life?-Festivals bring in positivity and happiness. They make you enthusiastic and excited for little things. They help in spreading love and kindness. And this is what the world needs. Life is cheerful with festivals. They become one reason behind your smile. So celebrate all the good things in life :)
- Festivals for us are the chains and that bind Friends, Families and time together and hence closed ones to spend more lead to happiness and Love which boosts the quality of our Life. In today era where we all are running like crazy behind Materialistic things Festivals are a welcome break for us to stop, smell the roses and prioritize our Goals and what we want from Life. It is very easy to get carried away without a thought to what makes us happy. Festivals for me is a time which takes the clock back and reminds me every single time what I need the most.
- Festivals are like cherry in the cake. Where we make some good memories, meet relatives. If we have festivals we can enjoy life by making it special than the other usual days which have every day. Life is not about living. It is about benefiting everyone by spreading joy and peace.
5. What should we do to preserve our tradition festival?
