Chủ nhật vừa rồi, em được bố mẹ cho về quê chơi. Quê em là một vùng nông thôn yên bình và xinh đẹp. Trước cổng làng là lũy tre xanh rì rào như đang vẫy gọi em nhanh vào trong. Những ngôi nhà trong làng chủ yếu là nhà nhỏ, nhà cấp 4. Tuy không cao lớn nhưng rất sạch sẽ và xinh đẹp. Đặc biệt, nhà nào cũng có vườn, trồng nhiều loại rau xanh, cây cối xum xuê. Trông đến là thích mắt. Những con đường trong làng là đường trải nhựa, hai bên trồng đầy cỏ xanh và hoa mười giờ. Điều em thích nhất, là cánh đồng lúa rộng mênh mông, xanh mướt và nồng đượm hương thơm ở cuối làng. Nhìn khung cảnh ấy, em thấy lòng mình nhẹ tênh như cánh gió. Em yêu tha thiết vẻ đẹp bình dị của quê hương em.

Em sinh ra và lớn lên ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Nơi đây có rất nhiều danh lam thắng cảnh đẹp,nhiều khu vui chơi giải trí. Nhà cao tầng mọc san sát nhau chạy dọc theo hai bên phố. Cửa hàng, cửa hiệu, bày bán đủ các loại mặt hàng. Đường phố tấp nập đông vui, người và xe cộ ngược xuôi rất náo nhiệt. Người dân thành phố rất thân thiện và mến khách. Ngoài ra thành phố Hồ Chí Minh còn là trung tâm thương mại lớn nhất cả nước. Em rất hãnh diện là người con thành phố mang tên Bác.

Hello from Hue!
   I have a great time here. It took 4 hours from my house to Hue by plane. The hotel is excellent. We are on the second floor. The weather is perfectly perfect. Sunny but not too hot. We visited my cousin lived in Hue. My cousin showed us around everything interesting in Hue like Trang Tien Bridge, Ngo Mon Gate, Thien Mu Pagoda.

Dear .....,

I arrived in Tokyo, Japan 2 days ago. The weather is really nice! Mai, my best friend and I are going to stay here for 7 days! We are staying in a small hotel in the center of the city. The view from the hotel is so nice and wonderful! I have visited some famous temples such as Sensoji Temple, Tennoji Temple, Yushima Seido,… and tried the matcha.

Tomorrow I am going to my friend’s house in Kyoto. I feel very excited to discover thí beautiful city!

Quê em là một xóm chài ven biển miền Trung. Bố mẹ em làm nghề đánh bắt cá. Đây là nghề mà trước đây ông bà nội em truyền lại. Cuộc sống ở xóm chài nơi em ở vui nhất là vào những buổi sáng. Khi hừng đông vừa mới hé, đứng trên bãi biển nhìn ra khơi xa, hàng trăm chiếc thuyền câu, giong buồm tiến vào bờ như những thuyền trận chiến thắng trở về. Trên bờ hầu hết là phụ nữ, trẻ con đứng chờ người nhà của mình về để phụ giúp gánh cá ra chợ hoặc thu dọn những phương tiện đánh bắt cá đưa về nhà phơi phong, giặt giũ. Còn buổi tối, đứng trền bãi cát nhìn ra biển mới thấy thú vị. Hàng trăm những ngọn đèn như những ngôi sao nhấp nháy trên bầu trời lúc ẩn, lúc hiện. Đó là những thuyền đánh cá đèn của xóm chài nơi em ở và các xóm chài lân cận. Vùng biển quê em là thế đấy. Em rất yêu cuộc sống quê mình.

Bấy giờ, em mới biết thế nào là nơi đô thị. Hè vừa rồi, em được mẹ cho lên thị xã chơi ba ngày ở nhà dì Phượng – bạn cùng học với mẹ hồi ở phổ thông. Suốt ba ngày, em được dì Phượng cho đi mấy vòng khắp thị xã. Đi đến chỗ nào, em cũng đều thấy nhà cửa san sát nhau chạy dọc theo các đường phố. Nhà cao tầng là phổ biến, và hầu như nhà nào cũng là những cửa hàng, cửa hiệu, bày bán đủ các loại mặt hàng. Chỗ thì ghi “Cửa hàng tạp hóa”, chỗ thì ghi “Cửa hàng vải sợi”, “Kim khí điện máy”, “Tiệm giày da”, “Quần áo may sẵn” v.v… Đường sá thì đều rải nhựa hết kể cả mấy con hẻm cũng tráng nhựa láng bóng. Buổi tối đi ra đường, em mới thấy cảnh tấp nập đông vui. Người và xe cộ ngược xuôi như mắc cửi. Đèn điện sáng trưng hai bên đường. Em thích nhất là được dì cho đi chơi ở công viên trung tâm của thị xã. Ngồi trên những băng đá, ngắm nhìn những vòi nước phun lên qua ánh đèn tạo thành những sắc cầu vòng thật là đẹp. Đấy, thị xã trong mắt em là thế. Và em cũng chỉ biết có vậy thôi, nó khác thật nhiều so với vùng quê của em.

My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The roman and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was.That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes.The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

Ngày tiếp theo mẹ và mình đã dành thời gian đi chợ nơi có rất nhiều hoạt động diễn ra và mình đã mua đồ lưu niệm để làm quà cho bạn thân. Đặc biệt mình rất ngạc nhiên với khả năng nói tiếng anh của người dân nơi đây, đặc biệt là trẻ em nhỏ. Bên cạnh đó mình cũng có cơ hội được thưởng thức đồ ăn đặc sản nơi đây như là thịt lợn cạp nách sapa, cơm lam và rượu táo mèo...Mỗi món ăn có mùi vị riêng và chúng đều hợp với khẩu vị của mình. Cuối cùng gia đình mình phải nói lời chia tay với Sapa và mình có thể quay trở lại nơi đây một ngày nào đó trong một tương lai không xa.

My first visit to Nha Trang, the coastal city, was three years ago. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.

Nha Trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a stunning landscapes. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach – a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands. Hon Tre is the largest of the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts’ nests.

Nha Trang is one of the greatest holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back.
