Watching TV is what I mostly do whenever I have free time. My main purpose when watching TV is to relax, so I often watch funny cartoons, action movies and music channels. It is an effective way to help me relax after a stressful day. It also helps me to know more things about life.

 

My favorite sport is playing football. I often play football in my spare time. After

completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing

football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning

to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father

asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told

him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can

admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school

competitions.

tham gia. Giờ đây, tôi thật sự thích chơi bóng đá và tham gia vào các cuộc thi liên trường.

My favorite sport is playing badminton. There are four reasons why I it. Firstly, I can improve my health through playing it. I play it about 2 times every week. It makes me feel energe everyday. Secondly, I enjoy the feeling that badminton flies in the air. I can change the movement direction of badminton without much effort and make opponent lose it. Thirdly, I can make many friends when I play badminton. I often play it with many kinds of persons. We can improve our skills with exercises. Also we talk about many interesting things when we have an break. Finally, playing badminton is not as intense as other sports such as basketball and soccer. It lessens the possibility of being hurt. 1. Hello, everybody! My name is......  . Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata  Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me.That brings me to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention!

2. My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. 3. I work for Pentax cameras, in the export department. I don’t have a lot of free time, but I have one special hobby taking photographs, of course! I taking photographs of flowers, especially in spring. Sometimes, after work, I relax in a bar near my office with friends. My friend, Tung, s singing pop songs in the bar. This has a special name, Karaoke. I don’t sing. I’m too shy! I just watch him.

4, My dream home would be on the ocean, well not on the ocean but beside it with a white sandy beach. The house would be an A frame backed against a hill. The upper floor would be a half floor master bedroom with a kingsize water bed and ensuite with a hot tub and sauna. The front wall would be glass with a stairway coming up to the bedroom. On cloudy nights you could watch the floresents in the waves coming into the beach while you went to sleep. Other nights you could counting the stars in the western sky. 
On the main floor would be the kitchen-dining room combination, with all the newest appliances and an island in the middle of the kitchen with the stove top and hanging pots and pans over it. The sink would be under one of the windows. Under the other window would be the nook for family meals. Between the kitchen windows, which look out to the field where the horses would be enjoying the warm weather are the cupboards. The dining room would have a six chair pine table set and hutch china cabnet. There will also be a three piece bathroom off the kitchen. The living room is in the front with the big front window. The fireplace is on the side wall with small long windows overlooking the driveway to the road a half mile away. The three piece sectional is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset into the western sea. The basement has the laundry room at the back with sewing machine for mending before folding and taking clothes upstairs. Half of the front of the basement is a guest bedroom with ensuite and small fridge and two element stove. The computer room is also at the front of the basement. Both have views of the beach and sea. Opposite the laundry room is my husband's workshop. I don't know what he has in there as it is his domain. In the garage at the side of the house is our wine colored 94 Toyota Crasada and my husband's hog. We often ride the bike along the beach on warm evenings to visit friends.

Nowadays, many people spend a lot of time watching television. It can't be denied that since television was invented, it has changed our lives in many ways, and brought us many advantages as well as disadvantages.
Television plays an important role in our daily life. It's very informative. Through television, we can get the latest information easily and rapidly without leaving home. We can learn more and more about the world we live in and see many interesting things. Our knowledge is broadened in many ways.
Secondly, television helps us to enrich our spiritual lives. In particular, we can learn the language we like such as English, Chinese, France, Spanish, Japanese.....through language programs. We can be good and clever at doing jobs, making cake, cooking, arranging flowers through the practical course which is taught on television.
And watching is an enjoyable way to relax. After a hard-working day, it's so comfortable and fun to sit in the armchair and see a movie or watch a comedy program. There are also educational programs on television, so children can learn a lot from these programs.
On the other hand, television has some disadvantages. It has negative effects, especially for children. Some movies contain violence or crime. Therefore, the evil influence of television on the young generation is inevitable. It encourages them to commit the crime, or make children grow up to be violent adults.
What's more, watching television too much makes us passive. When watching TV, our brains don't need to work. Therefore, our brains become lazier. Watching TV too much is also bad for our eyes. This is the main cause that leads to short-sightedness.
All things considered, everything has two sides, advantages, and disadvantages. Television will be useful to us if only we know how to use it sensibly.

I'm Phuong in class 6C. If I become a president of 3Rs Club, I will make a 3Rs Group in every class. Next, I will organize the recycling competition every month to reduce the rubbish and make everyone know how to recycle the rubbish or old clothes. Finally, I will collect the rubbish around the school every week to recycle them to reduce the garbage or sell them to earn money. I think if I become a president of the 3Rs Club, I will help the environment be greener, cleaner and more beautiful.

Normally, when I have free time, I usually play sports, watch tv, surf webs and read books. After learning stressful hours , such activities help me entertain and relax. Playing sport is the free time activity I like best. Firstly, I like to play sport because it is a healthy activity . You know, sports provide many benefits. It improves our health and help us to be strong. In addition, sports help us increase in statue and have a excellent body. Secondly, I like sports. I feel as dynamic as possible. Moreover, It makes me full of energy. Lastly, well, it is what I enjoy most when playing sports. That is sports which can help us take up the community. We will knows a lot of people having the same interests in playing sports.Trust me, I was acquainting have got acquainted with a lot of friends when I play sports. There are a lot of activities that you can do in your leisure time. Some people are so tired of work that they prefer to use their free time just for resting and sleeping. Others spend their free time on their favourite activities. For example, they listen to music, play their favourite musical instrument, go on a picnic, take a trip, go to the nature and enjoy the fresh air, hang out with their friends, go partying, go shopping, visit their relatives, spend some time with their kids and play games with them, read and write, watch TV, watch movies or cartoons, go to the theatre, surf the net, cook, do some gardening, etc. Some people like me choose sports to enjoy their free time. Among different kinds of sports, I prefer basketball.

When you play basketball with your team mates you have a chance to get rid of all the negative energies that are piled up in you throughout work or study time. Your body is wholly involved. Basketball involves both your mind and your body. It’s an extremely physical activity, so that even your finger tips have to be strong. In basketball you need both stamina and speed to be a successful player. It’s not that important if you’re not tall. Your strength is of much more importance. Both feet and hands must be strong. Even you need to be wise in this game. If you know where to stand so that your rival has a weak chance of blocking you, you’ll more successfully get close to the basket to shoot and score. Sometimes, by being wise and finding the right place to stand and block the rival saves your team.

Basketball is a team work and this is what I like the most about this sport. You learn how to cooperate with other team mates. Sometimes, you need to sacrifice yourself by blocking the rival so that your team mate can find space to go to the basket and score. Passing the ball to other members of your team makes the chance of winning higher and higher.

All in all, basketball is so enjoyable and fun if you play it in a group, not individually.

There are many trees on the schoolyard.There are three floors with 18 classes, I'm studying on the second floor. The house we are living in is situated in the suburb of HCM city, within thirty minutes’ drive off the central city. We have lived there for more than twenty years. This is a fairly large house surrounded with a luxuriant garden.

My house consists of four bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. At night, the color neon lights increase the beauty and coziness of the room. There, on Sundays and holidays my father usually spends his time playing chess or drinking tea with his friends. My mother and my two sisters are diligent and hard-working women. They often keep the house clean and tidy.

On suffocating days of summer, we usually take meals in the garden. It is fairly cool and quiet here. We enjoy our meals amid the melodious twitters of birds. On stormy and rainy nights all whole family members gather in the living-room, watching television or telling each other about their daily activities.

I love my house very much because it is the place where I was born and have grown up in the education of my father and in the tender loving care of my mother. I have spent my whole childhood in the love and affection of my dear ones with so many sweet memories.

I live in a quite small but a beautiful house. My home is located just behind the river Ganga because of which fresh and cool air comes to our home. At evening we plays in our yard. Our home also comprises a garden with many beautiful flowers rose, lily, etc. 
Our home comprises 4 rooms, a kitchen, and two washroom. My mom cooks delicious foods in our kitchen, the delicious smell of which spreads out in home in a few minutes. Once in every month we have a picnic near our home because of the presence of natural harbours near about.

I love to go to school. When I have a holiday I miss school. I go to school with my friends, and we enjoy biking down together. My school is two kilometers away from home. I wake up early in the morning to go to school as classes begin at quarter past seven every day.

I find my school uniform very smart. The uniform is a white shirt and a blue skirt with a black belt and blue tie. And to go with it is a pair of white socks and black shoes. The teachers are strict about our uniform being neat and spotlessly clean. At the assembly the students, all together, look very neat and well turned out.

At school I learn many new things each day. There are many subjects that are taught to us like languages, mathematics, science and social studies. We also have interesting co-curricular activities that help us learn better. We also go on educative excursions.

There are a number of extra-curricular activities also that are offered to us. We are afforded opportunities to participate in various sports, music, dance, theatre and art events. These are fun activities that also help us develop our hobbies.

I love to go to school. When I have a holiday I miss school. I go to school with my friends, and we enjoy biking down together. My school is two kilometers away from home. I wake up early in the morning to go to school as classes begin at quarter past seven every day.

I find my school uniform very smart. The uniform is a white shirt and a blue skirt with a black belt and blue tie. And to go with it is a pair of white socks and black shoes. The teachers are strict about our uniform being neat and spotlessly clean. At the assembly the students, all together, look very neat and well turned out.

At school I learn many new things each day. There are many subjects that are taught to us like languages, mathematics, science and social studies. We also have interesting co-curricular activities that help us learn better. We also go on educative excursions.

There are a number of extra-curricular activities also that are offered to us. We are afforded opportunities to participate in various sports, music, dance, theatre and art events. These are fun activities that also help us develop our hobbies.

I come from a small town called MH. First of all, it’s is very green and has many beaches and mountains.  My hometown has a very small population and the people are very friendly. It also has a small city center or down town area and you can find many shops and restaurants. For example, sea food restaurants supermarkets. Further more,  My hometown is a coastal town as a results, there are many boats and ships called dhows made by a small traditional  wooden ship factory. In addition, there are many fishermen around so you can eat many kinds of  cheap fish. Its very hot in the summer and warm in the winter. There are many parks and museums in my hometown. Many tourists visit my hometown in the winter time because of the pleasant weather and the can see the turtles and their little ones.

    There are many beautiful and attractive places in the world, but the one I want to go to most is America. It is a very developed country with extremely modern technology. In the near future, I will have a trip to the US. That would be a plane ride. And I'll be there for a week. If I can go to America, I will definitely have a really wonderful trip. In my house I have four rooms, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom and one hall.

My room is next to the living room, in my room I have a desk near the window, I have two beds, I have my computer on the desk, my closet is next to the desk and in the desk I have books. In my room I have pictures of anime.

The room of my sister is next to my room. My sister has a desk under the window, she has a library next to the desk, her bed is far from the window and her closet is next to the bed.

The room of my parents is next to my sister’s room. My parents have in their room a big bed, they have two little tables, their closet is behind the windows.

The living room is next to my room, in the living room we have two sofas and an armchair, we have a little table, we have a TV and a DVD, we have some music discs and a DVD player.

The kitchen is next to my parent’s room. In the kitchen we have a TV, one fridge, one cooker and a big table.

The bathroom is far from the kitchen. In the bathroom we have a toilet, a shower and a sink.
