 Tết đến xuân về, mọi vật như được đánh thức sau một giấc ngủ dài mỉm cười chào đón nàng tiên mùa xuân ấm áp. Ngoài vườn, trăm hoa đua nở, chuẩn bị phô sắc, toả hương mừng xuân mới. Hoà trong khí thế vui tưi ấy, cây mai cũng bừng tỉnh đón chào một năm mới với mọi sự tốt lành.

  Trên khuôn mặt của từng người sáng bừng một niềm vui, háo hức đón xuân. Ai ai cũng tất bật, khẩn trương chuẩn bị cho cái tết riêng của mình. Con đường làng cũng nhộn nhịp hẳn lên bởi mọi người nghỉ hết việc đồng áng đổ ra đường đi sắm Tết. Ngoài chợ, những dãy hàng hoa tươi, cây đào, cây quất hứa hẹn một cái Tết tưng bừng. Những tiếng chào mời mua hàng, tiếng rao hàng, tiếng xe cộ làm cho âm thanh của buổi chợ Tết thêm nổi bật. Tâm điểm của chợ tết là những hàng đào đang ra hoa hồng thắm. Bố em cũng chọn một cành đào. Bọn trẻ vui sướng hơn ai hết bởi chúng được nghỉ học trước Tết mấy ngày rủ nhau đi chơi khắp làng ngắm nghía những chiếc đèn lồng đỏ treo suốt từ đầu ngõ đến cuối ngõ. Mắt đúa nào cũng xuýt xoa, lấp lánh niềm vui.

 Mặc dù tiếc nuối vì những ngày tết vui vẻ mà ngắn ngủi nhưng dù sao tôi cũng đã có những giây phút thật hạnh phúc như thế. Và khi điều gì thật khó có được thì chúng ta mới càng trân trọng nó hơn, phải không?

All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods. Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
