I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and Tet holiday in the city is very bustling occasion. Within a month before the Lunar New Year, the streets are very crowded, many people go out to do shopping and enjoy the holiday scenery. My parents are busy cleaning the house, and I am busy thinking about what to wear and where to go. Right after we have a break from school, my friends and I spend most of the time on Nguyen Hue Flower Street to take pictures. However, Nguyen Hue Street is not the only beautiful place, almost everywhere in the main streets are wonderful for people to have great pictures. They are beautifully decorated with bright lights, and the apricot blossom - the symbol of New Year's Day can be found everywhere. On New Year's Eve, my family and I watch fireworks from Sai Gon Bridge; we have to go there before nine o’clock to get a good spot. Early in the first morning of the year, we go to the pagoda to pray for peace and health, and then I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and relatives. Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy the festive atmosphere, delicious food, and receive lucky money. I wish that Tet could last for a month.

Tet is the biggest traditional festival in Vietnam. This is an opportunity for people to enjoy a happy and relaxing period of time with their family and friends. There are some differences between Tet in the North and the South of Vietnam. In the North, the traditional food of Tet is Chung cake - a rectangular sky rice cake with meat, which is wrapped in phrynium. People usually buy the cakes with some cherry blossom branches as a symbol of Tet to decorate their houses. In the South, people consider apricots and Tet cakes are the symbols of Tet. Tet cake is also made from sky rice, and the inside can be sweet beans, bananas, or even meat. On New Year’s Eve, most families gather together to have a warm dinner and a traditional ritual in order to commemorate our ancestors. On the first day of New Year, youngsters will give their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. In the rest time of Tet, people can go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. Tet is an important occasion for families and friends to be together after a year of hard work, and it can motivate people to try harder in the next year.

Đây là dạng bài toán nâng cao về thời gian của tiểu học em nhé.

Muốn tìm được xem tháng 10 đó học sinh đi học bao nhiêu ngày thì em cần tính xem tháng đó có tất cả bao nhiêu ngày, trong đó có bao nhiêu ngày là thứ 7 và chủ nhật. Em lấy tổng số ngày của tháng đó trừ đi số ngày thứ bảy và chủ nhật trong tháng là tìm được số ngày đi học.

                      Giải chi tiết như sau:

Tháng 10 là tháng có 31 ngày.

Từ ngày 1 đến ngày 31 có số ngày là: 31 - 1  = 30 (ngày)

30 : 7 = 4 ( dư 2)

Vậy trong tháng 10 đó thì ngày 30 là thứ 6 và ngày 31 là thứ 7.

Từ lập luận trên ta thấy tháng đó có 4 tuần hai ngày và ngày cuối cùng là ngày thứ bảy nên tháng đó có tổng số ngày thứ bảy và chủ nhật là:

      4 \(\times\) 2 + 1 = 9 ( ngày)

Vậy trong tháng 10 đó học sinh đi học số ngày là:

     31 - 9 = 22 ( ngày)

Đáp số: 22 ngày 

ngày mồng 3 là thứ 7. Vậy tháng 10 có 5 ngày thứu 7 và 4 ngày chủ nhật.

Số ngày nghỉ: 4 x 2 + 1 = 9 ngày
