Topic 1:

I’ve always wanted to see the Earth from space so my dream house would orbit the Earth. It would be filled with a bunch of high-tech stuff that I could play around with and, of course, a button to turn off zero gravity because I don’t think sleeping while floating would be comfortable. I would also like there to be a teleporter that would allow me to go anywhere on Earth. How else would I get back to Earth to see my friends and family? Flying by rocket each time would be too wasteful.

Topic 2:

I don’t really get to spend much time watching TV programs mainly because I remain busy with other priorities in life. But, sometimes, I do enjoy watching different kind of comedy shows and documentaries because they make me “think” differently. Today, I would like to talk about one such comedy show which made a great impression on me.

I watched the program about a couple of years ago in the absence of my family who were out on a visit to see a “terminally” ill relative of them. Coincidently, the comedy show was also about an “elderly” ill person, with “limited” mobility, who wanted to find his “love” for the last time before dying.

But the problem was, of course, no woman was willing to put up with the old man because he had a very “tight fist”. In other words, he was a very “stingy” man with no intention whatsoever to spend any money on others, even if it meant spending on his “wife”! In fact, he was so “stingy” that he even liked to “sleep” on his money sometimes due to his fear of getting them stolen by others. Anyway, finally, one elderly lady became kind enough to marry him on one condition. And the condition was, the old guy would need to stop sleeping with his money. The guy happily agreed. But, after the marriage, the guy still kept sleeping with his money. The wife saw it and angrily reminded about his “promise”. The guy very calmly answered that “he was not sleeping with his money any more, rather the money was sleeping with him!” Needless to say, that was the moment when I simply burst out in laughter!

I really liked the comedy show mainly because it did highlight on a very natural human instinct which “pushes” people to go to any length, even if it is “lying” or “cheating”, in order to find “love” regardless of age or sex. It also made me realize the fact once again that even though sometimes “money” is what helps us “buy” love, it pushes us away too.

Topic 3:

Football is the most popular sport in my country, there are a million fans and supporters here like it. They like both watching and playing it. Because it is an affordable type of sport just only you need a ball. It is a game of skill, where ball control is far more important than physical conditioning, even children play it in the street every day. Also, here adore with the world cup matches. The second sport here is handball. The Egyptian handball team is more successful than the football one. We made it to the Olympics more than any other sport and achieved higher worldwide rankings than any other sport.
I used to play handball when I was a child. Nowadays I play it, with my friend when we have free time. It’s always a bit of a rush and I never get a chance to really enjoy it properly, so I wish I had more time for that.

Topic 4:

The Mekong Delta (Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long), nicknamed the ‘Rice Bowl of Vietnam,’ is a lush network of waterways in Vietnam known for its excellent nutrient-rich soils and diverse ecosystems – the banks are a veritable patchwork of fruit, vegetables, rice plantations and cattle farms that provide sustenance for more than a third of the country.

This impressive stretch of river frontage is the most biodiverse in the world if you don’t count the Amazon. Taking up much of the south of Vietnam, the Mekong Delta is an extraordinary place filled with lily pad waterways, rice paddies, mangroves, and enchanting wildlife.

While you can reach the Delta by plane, bus, or bike, a boat trip down the tranquil tributaries and mangroves of the Mekong is unforgettable. Paddled by a local in a wooden canoe, you’ll be able to witness everyday life on the river, passing farmlands, fruit orchards, monkey bridges, water buffalo, and floating markets. The best time to visit the Mekong is during the dry season between December and May when there’s less chance of flooding

In the North, Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam which is known as the main cultural centres and the most important political centre of Vietnam. In the Central, Da Nang city is a place that you mustn't want to miss. It's the best place for leisure travel. In the South, Ho Chi Minh city is the most suitable place to visit and to entertain. ocated in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay may be the most beautiful destination in Southeast Asia.

Acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994, Ha Long Bay is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature by global poll. The name Ha Long, which means descending dragon, comes from an ancient tale. In the story, there was once a dragon descending from the sky and dropping thousands of pearls which later became islands and islets with different sizes and shapes that emerged from the water surface. Some of them possess distinctive shapes like Trong Mai islet, Oan islet, or Ga Choi islet. These became the main attractions when sailing around the bay. Some famous islands like Co To, Tuan Chau, Ti Top, and Quan Lan have breathtaking views of emerald water and unspoiled sand which have become the best destinations for most foreign and domestic visitors.

In addition to more than 1,600 islands and islets, there are many splendid caves and grottos scattered around the bay such as Thien Cung, Dau Go, Luon, Sung Sot caves and more. Those have become well-known all over the world for their spectacular beauty and outstanding geological value.

Visitors coming to Ha Long Bay can also have a variety of cruise itineraries to choose from. They vary from visiting grottos and caves to going to some fishing villages like Cua Van to experience the life of local fishermen on floating houses and enjoy fresh seafood prepared right on the ship.

I consider the earth quake in 2011 was the most horrible and frightful in my life. A magnitude 5.5 earthquake centered off southern Vietnam in November 2001, killed one person after a plank loosened by the shaking fell on his head. Many houses were damaged, and several people were injured as they tried to escape from their homes, including some who jumped from balconies.Luckily, none of deaths. Some schools and office buildings damaged by the quake were closed for inspection. Dien Bien Phu was the site of a key victory by Vietnamese forces against French colonialist forces in 1954. After the quake, many residents of the town stayed on the streets all night and did not dare to go back into their houses until morning,People in the whole town could not sleep for fear of another quake. Earthquakes occur infrequently in VietnamThe quake was the worst to hit Vietnam in a decade. Damage from Vietnam earthquake estimated at $13 million.

It is a very good place for relaxation indeed. In my village, people live very close to each another. The people are very simple in thought and behavior. Therefore they are friendly and helpful . So, the crimes of the city are almost unknown in my village. The people work together and live in peace. I love them. My village is surrounded by paddy-fields and a river. All these add great beauty and variety to my village scene. Although I do not like growing rice, but I really like the fields. It makes me have a good mood, a peace mood and a relaxed mood. Now I am living in Hanoi capital. I want to come back my hometown very much. Living among such friendly and simple people, in such a quiet village, is indeed a real pleasure.

In our country, there are quite lots of different festivals every years. However, I think Tet festival is the most typical festival for most Vietnamese people. Though we can live or work far from our family, we still try to get together at Tet. Tet festival often occurs in late January or February.

It is a good chance for us to have days off and have time to visit relatives or friends for giving good luck and the best wishes to each other. For some people who are rich, they can go on a trip somewhere in Viet Nam or in foreign countries to enjoy Tet festival

i like country life. because people in the countryside are more friendly than those who live in city

in the countryside, the enviroment is very fresh and it have many trees. my mind is better: not busy, peaceful.

many people say that: " the country life is very boring!" but i don't think so. i think although the countryside doesn't have many means of the entertainment but we can play traditionnal games..

in the city, people always want to work and work, they want to have much money. so, sometimes they forget many interesting things in their life.

in the countryside, you can become another one : you are better, happier anh care of everybody. here, people are a big family, if you are sad, they are sad with you. if you smile, they smile with you

only thing i want to say " i love country life and my Hanam province, forever"

haha

In Vietnam, there are many meaningful and long-standing customs. As a Vietnamese citizen, I am extremely proud of our custom called "asking for handwriting", which is one of Vietnamese nice cultural traits and worthy to be adopted by other countries. Firstly, the custom shows desires or particular concepts and personal identities of people who want pictures of handwriting in the first days of a lunar new year. No difference between the rich and the poor, the old and the young, the local and the foreign is made in this customs. For example, the middle-aged asks for the handwriting of "Soul" or "Patience", the youth needs "Fame", "Love", "Loyalty", "Faithfulness" or "Will". A present for parents is "Peace" or "Safeness", one for the old is "Longevity". In addition, these words are often written in papers of red, pink or yellow colors, which symbolize luck. Secondly, the custom dignifies Vietnamese fondness of learning. The scholars, who give pictures of handwriting, always explain the far-reaching significance of each word written and the inquirers largely seem excited about this. Besides, many scholars are very young. Despite this, a lot of parents choose them as writers because they hope their children can learn from the youth's studiousness. In conclusion, the sincerity of both inquirers and givers of handwriting helps this custom be preserved with spiritual senses. Our foreign friends might apply it to their countries so as to remind them to love their mother languages and promote national fondness of learning.
