          Every years in my school , there are many volunteer works . And I always join it . First , I don't understand that : '' What is the volunteer work ? '' . But when a volunteer explains , I understood . Then I donate many things such as : pens , books , shoes , clothes , ...... I think it is very useful for many people need them . I love doing volunteer works very much , because I can help people poor , ..........

The term community service refers to a donated activity or service carried out by a person or a group of people for the benefit and well being of the general public. Individuals who offer community service are known as volunteers. However, those are required to do so by the school, the government or a court cannot be termed as volunteers, since they are not doing the service out of their own will. People are involved in community service for different reasons and it is up to the individual to realize if it is worthwhile and why they are helping others. This article looks into some of the main beneficial aspects of community service.

Community service has now grown to be a vehicle for bringing a nation together. It is like the central point of a country, as there is a key importance on doing good for others. Every country wants its people to be disciplined and work for change. Community service comes at handy as it is the best way to inculcate this sense of responsibility to individuals. To attach an extra dimension to the aspect of reform, the judicial systems in many countries have recognized the importance of community service by handing over such projects to law breakers.

In addition, by participating in community service, children and teenagers are introduced to good values and morals. Values such as humbleness, gratefulness, honesty, sincerity and respect are among the important virtues that one can acquire from helping the community. The importance of community service eventually relies on how the provider perceives it. These programs are intended to inculcate a sense of community and civic engagement in people. The more hours people spend doing community work, the more the service will help them in realizing their educational, social and developmental goals.

Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity and is intended to promote goodness or improve human quality of life. In return, this activity can produce a feeling of self-worth and respect. There is no financial gain involved for the individual. Volunteering is also renowned for skill development, socialization, and fun. Volunteering may have positive benefits for the volunteer as well as for the person or community served.[1] It is also intended to make contacts for possible employment. It is helping, assisting, or serving another person or persons without pay. Many volunteers are specifically trained in the areas they work, such as medicine, education, or emergency rescue. Others serve on an as-needed basis, such as in response to a natural disaster.

I want to raise funds to help street children. I want to do it because it is necessary and interesting. I am going to do it by giving money and clothes. I feel happy when I do there activities. I will ask my friends to help me. we will collect bottles and sell them.We are funny.

Sau một cơn mưa lớn, cây bàng ở sân trường em đã bị bật gốc rồi chết. Nhìn khoảng sân trường nơi ấy trống hẳn khiến nằng tràn xuống bỏng rát, em quyết định đem một cây khác trồng vào chỗ cũ. Em lại chẻ tre để làm một hàng rào bao tròn xung quanh cây để các bạn đi học khỏi vô ý dẵm phải. Mỗi buổi sáng trước giờ học, em lấy nước ở bồn rửa tay tưới cho nó. Một tháng một lần, em bón phân nhổ cỏ, thỉng thoảng lại vạch lá tìm sâu. Nhờ vậy mà cây bàng lớn nhanh chóng. Nhìn lại những mầm non bật xa xanh tươi và căng tràn sức sống, em thật vui. Bây giờ cây bàng đã đớn lắm rồi, tuy tán nó chưa đủ rộng để che mát cả khoảng sân nhưng cũng làm không khí dịu mát rất nhiều. Kết quả làm em vui thích lắm.

Hằng năm, sau kì nghỉ Tết Nguyên Đán, trường em lại tổ chức quyên góp để ủng hộ học sinh vùng lũ lụt. Và năm nay cũng vậy.

Chúng em có thể ủng hộ đồ dùng học tập, quần áo hoặc tiền mặt. Cán bộ lớp có trách nhiệm phân loại, thống kê và nộp về cho nhà trường. Thời gian để các lớp hoàn thành nhiệm vụ là một tuần.

Chiều hôm đó, sau khi kế hoạch được phát động, em đã xin mẹ thu gom một số sách vở còn mới để tặng các bạn. Ngoài ra, em cũng thu gom một số bộ quần áo mới mà mình không mặc nữa. Sau khi đã thu gom được một số đồ, em gấp lại gọn gàng, rồi để vào trong túi. Mẹ cũng đã giúp em sắp xếp gọn gàng đồ đạc. Hai mẹ con vừa làm vừa trò chuyện vui vẻ. 

Em tin rằng những món quà này sẽ giúp đỡ phần nào cho các bạn học sinh có hoàn cảnh khó khăn. Nhờ nó mà các bạn nhỏ đó có thể tiếp tục học tập như em để thực hiện được ước mơ của mình và mùa đông này các bạn sẽ không bị lạnh nữa.

Em cảm thấy vui khi đã làm được một việc tốt. Điều đó khiến em hạnh phúc vô cùng.

Tấm lòng nhỏ nhưng góp phần đem lại lợi ích to lớn. Em tự hứa sẽ cố gắng làm thêm được nhiều những công việc có ích cho cuộc sống hơn nữa.

Volunteering is a job we do for the benefit of the community. Almost everyone s this job, and so do I. I often give books to children in wetlands, or help old people, especially those who are sick, I want to provide food, clothes and blankets for street children. I want to do it because I want to share the things I have with children who are in need. I hope no child will be hungry and cold. I will cook food and bring it to street children on the weekends. I will also encourage my friends to donate clothes and blankets to them.

Being a summer volunteer is one of the good things we can do in our student time. Instead of wasting our time playing games or wandering with our friends, we can join the Blue Summer campaign at schools. By doing so, we can become young volunteers to help people who are in need. I always remember last summer when our volunteer team had been to a poor countryside. That place even lacked of clean water and electricity, while in many other places people are wasting them. After a day of resting, we started to clean up the old school together, attended in the project of reconstructing a number of local bridges which funded by donors. We lived in some of the houses of the local people, and we spent time doing house chores, playing, and eating together. Although their lives are lacking of materials, their hearts are full of love and kindness. We helped them with our strength and the ebullient spirit of youth, and in return they took care of us so we could be safe and happy while we were away from home. After a month and a half, we successfully restored an old school and one bridge, and we built one more small new bridge. These things really helped children at that place had a better educational environment, and people had an easier road to go to work. Local people were very excited with those new constructions, and we promised to come back next summer to bring better things. When the volunteer trip ended, my parents were very happy when I came back home safely. I felt so proud of myself because I could prove that I was a mature person by helping other people. Summer is coming soon, and I cannot wait to be on my next volunteer trip together with my friends.
