My favorite school is a beautiful school. It is a big and large school. The school has many trees and there has enough stadiums and sporting yards for students to play. The thing I expect the most, that is a great learning school with many modern equipments. One more thing, the students of the school are friendly and helpful and the teachers are good too. That's all of the school in my dream.

I study on Le Quy Đon Secondary. It is located in Thanh Hoa City. I have been studying here for about 3 months, I think this is a good school and I really love it.

First, I want to tell about the education in Le QUy Don School. In this school, they teach us with the same style as the USA way. This can help us to get used to the USA education before we go to study in the USA. Besides it, APU School also gives us the opportunity to go study in the USA when we have enough knowledge about English vocabulary and grammar or when we graduate from Le QUy Don School. This is a really good chance for someone who wants to go study abroad but still can not because of some reason or money. This is also the reason why I came to this school to study. I did that because I want to go to the USA to study.

Second, I want to talk with you about the teachers in my school, the Le Quy Don School. The teachers here are very friendly. Although sometimes they are strict but it only happens when we do something wrong, but I still don’t hate them because I know that they do that because they want us to be a good citizen. In class time, teachers always give us the opportunities to do the exercises in groups and make every students have chance to tell what they want to say or to do. Teachers always pay some time to listen to students’ thinking. After that, they will change to the way that suitable for students but it must be suitable with our study programs.

Hello everyone, my name is Duong Thien Linh. This year I am 16 years old, I live in Thuong Hai, China. There are four members in my family, including my parents, elder brother and me. Now, I am studying in class 9B at Chu Van An school. At school I have a lot of friends, they are all docile and lovely. Everyone says that I am a very active and energe child so they love me so much. My favorite subject is Physics and English. My hobbies are cooking and reading books. Some of the favorite books are science fiction, detective, history and art. For the fans of the detective genre, the famous Detective Conan is the series that we should not miss. I do not need to give any advertisement about this series, because it has already attracted millions of readers from all over the world. The author of it is Aoyama Gosho – a genius in creating characters and building plots. The main storyline is about a junior detective Shinichi Kudo. One time he was chasing some suspicious people, he was attacked and poisoned. The pill did not kill him, but it turned him into a seven – year – old boy. From that time, he lives at his friend’s house with a new identity – Edogawa Conan. He has a group of friends at school, and together they create the Detective team of class 1B. He solves a lot of difficult criminal cases under the name of detective Mori Kogoro – a not very good detective and also his friend’s father. Thanks to the modern gadgets of Dr. Agashi, he can put Mori into sleep and take his voice to expose the crimes. While living as a first grade boy, Conan continues to find the true faces of the ones who had poisoned him. Each book contains some different cases, and readers cannot figure everything out until they read to the end. Aoyama is such a great mind, and his books still attract a lot of readers even though the series has lasted for about 20 years. The famous Detective Conan is one of the best series of the detective category, and it is a pity of we miss it.

       Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. It looks so funny. On that day, the teacher also celebrated a birthday for some of our classmates. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

After a stressful semester, my parents decide take me to the country to visit grandparents, leave the noise of city behind. Homeland is a small and peaceful land, beside the Red River. The atmosphere here is very fresh, there is no noise, no pollution as in the city I am living. On two sides of the road there are the rows of green trees and birds singing beside the ears. In front of my grandparents’s house is a small garden. Every morning, after sweeping the house, I am taken to the garden to water vegetables, feed chickens. The feeling of watching the little yellow chickens run around the legs is really amazed. In the afternoon, my brother leads me to fly kites on the long dyke with children in the neighborhood. These children also think some interesting games such as chasing, hide and seek ... For me, everything here is new and amazing. After the trip, I know how to swim and learn many many things. I hope next summer parents will take me to visit the grandparents again.

Detective Conan is a famous Japanese detective story, written by Aoyama Gosho. Since its launch, the story has become a companion of many people, not only children but also adults all over the world. In addition to comics, it is also adapted into electronic games, music CDs as well as live action movies to meet the need of readers. The content revolves around the story of Kudo Shinichi, a intelligent student detective. However, during one case investigation, he was taken by members of the Black Organization to drink poison that immediately made his body shrink and since then, he took another nickname, Edogawa Conan, continuing the investigation to unmask this organization. He was sent to live in detective Mori’s house for a short time, helping him successfully investigate many cases. Reading each page of the book, we go from surprise to surprise by the attractive story situation and the talented intellectual speculation of the detective guy.

There is a super famous comic book series that I am sure most of people in all over the world know, and it is Doraemon. It started as a simple series for children which took a small part in the magazine. However, it had surprisingly created a big wave which even reached out to the whole world. The story is about a robot cat from the future who has to come back to the past to help a small boy to fix his miserable life. That boy is Nobita – a slow and clumsy boy. Together they been through a lot of interesting things in the daily life as well as thrilling adventures. Doraemon has a small pocket on his belly, but actually it is a magic pocket which can contain countless of things. That is where he stores all of his gadgets from the future, and they help Nobita to overcome the difficulties in his life. Besides the two main characters, Nobita has other friends such as Shizuka, Takeshi, Suneo, Doremi, Dekisugi and many more. Shizuka is Nobita’s crush, and lately she becomes his wife. Takeshi – or also known as Jaian – is the one who always bully Nobita for his silliness, but sometimes he also stands out to protect his friends and family.  Suneo is a rich kid, and he is the best assistant of Jaian when bullying Nobita. They fight a lot, but they are kids after all. The comic is not just only a form of entertainment, but it also has many valuable lessons about life. We can learn how to treasure friendship, protect the environment, and stay away from bad things after reading it. Doraemon is my favorite book, and I think there are a lot of people out there also love it me.

Last summer, I had an unforgettable summer holiday with my family in Dalat. Dalat is about 300 km to the north of HCM city. This city is famous for its roman places, bright weather and delicious food. Additionally, it is known as love city in VN because it attracts large number of couples to visit, peaceful and beautiful landscape. When my family got there, we hired a hotel room in city center near Ho Xuan Huong lake and walked by the lake every nights. Beside, we also had good time to take part in several outdoor activities such as: visiting night market, flower park; tasting spring roll and soy milk. My sister and I brought many souvenirs from a store in order to give them for our friends and relatives. In second day, my family had a chance to visit Clay Village- a mini model, which describes ancient and modern Dalat. The construction is a masterpiece of art and attracts both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Moreover, there is Langbiang so that visitors can hike climbing and enjoy roasted meats at the top of the mountain. However, my family chose to move by a jeep because nobody wants to be exhausted when getting there. It’s such a wonderful sightseeing trip. In the next few days, we went to Crazy House, which used to belong to Hang Nga- daughter of Truong Chinh. The villa has strange architecture with unique style as a mysterious castle. The tourists are really impressed with this house. After a week in Dalat, we decided to come back home. My parents go back to work at the office and I go bạck to school for a new year study. It’s an enjoyable holiday and I hope having a chance to go back Dalat in a near future.

Hơn nữa, nó được biết đến như thành phố tình yêu ở VN bởi thu hút rất nhiều cặp đôi tham quan và khung cảnh yên bình tuyệt đẹp. Khi gia đình tôi tới, chúng tôi thuê một phòng khách sạn ngay trung tâm thành phố gần hồ Xuân Hương và đi dạo bên bờ hồ mỗi tối. Ngoài ra, chúng tôi còn tham gia vào rất nhiều hoạt động giải trí ngoài trời như: đi chợ đêm, vườn hoa và ăn nem uống sữa đậu nành. Chị tôi và tôi còn mua rất nhiều quà lưu niệm tại các của hàng để làm quà tặng bạn bè và người thân. Vào ngày thứ hai, cả gia đình tham quan làng đất sét- mô hình thu nhỏ của ĐL xưa và nay. Công trình này là một tuyệt tác nghệ thuật thu hút không chủ khách VN mà còn du khách nứơc ngoài. ĐL còn có núi Langbiang cho mọi người đi bộ và thưởng thức thịt nướng ngay trên đỉnh núi. Tuy nhiên, gia đình chúng tôi chọn cách di chuyển bằng xe zip bởi vì không ai muốn mệt mỏi khi leo tới đỉnh núi. Đó là một cuộc thưởng ngoạn tuyệt vời. Vào những ngày tiếp theo, chúng tôi có dịp tham quan nhà kì quái, từng thuộc về bà Hằng Nga- con gái bí thư Trường Chinh. Ngôi biệt thự có kiến trúc lạ với phong cách độc đáo như những toà lâu đài huyền bí. Khách du lịch rất ấn tượng trước ngôi nhà này. Sau 1 tuần ở ĐL chúng tôi quay trở về nhà. Bố mẹ lại quay lại làm việc tại văn phòng còn tôi bắt đầu 1 năm học mới. Đó là kì nghỉ thực sự thú vị và tôi mong sẽ có dịp được quay trở lại ĐL.

Everybody loves holidays because during our holidays we can relax and have fun. We get enough time to travel, play our favorite sports and prace our hobbies. My Favorite holiday is Last Holiday. Below I will tell you about my last holiday.

I had always dreamed about going to XYZ (name of a city) and near places. On 27th July I , my family departed ABC (name of a district) towards our first destination, XYZ . As soon as we reached there after a long journey, I was stunned by the beautiful scenic views that I only saw in pictures. I was totally lost in the scenic views that I forgot to blink my eyes. We stayed in the 5-star hotel in front of the beach. Next day, we hired a boat for a trip to see small islands. It was simply amazing.We swam all day and return our Hotel. Following day we hired a car and saw historical place, visited museum and doing shopping. It was a beautiful and excited.The holiday was a perfect.

We did so many activities which included Swimming, Football, Scuba diving, Boat trip,Visiting museum, Paragliding etc. We also watched the sunrise of BBB summit, it was very roman. It was the most amazing and spectacular experience of my life that I was stunned by God’s creation of a heaven- place on earth. Our journey ended on 4th of August. On our way back we traveled by bus again. During the trip I thought, ‘Those days were amazing and unforgettable, I wished if I had more days to spend over there’. 

My holiday was exciting and full of joy. I enjoyed it immensely. I am looking forward to going there again soon.

My grandmother is 90 this year, and her age makes her become pretty weak. There are countless wrinkles on her face, but we can still see that she used to be a very beautiful girl when she was young. She has curly grey hair which my mother decided to cut short. Her eyes are blurred by time, but there is still a light in them whenever she smiles. Every morning, she will spend about 10 minutes to walk around the yard as a light exercise, and then she will drink a hot cup of milk. She has to follow a strict diet because she has problem with her liver, so she cannot eat the same food as other people. Besides, she needs to take some pills in the morning and evening to maintain her health, and I feel really sad when she needs more and more pills. Despite her age, she is still a delightful lady who is full of love, and of course I love her very much.

Bà tôi phải tuân theo một chế độ ăn uống nghiêm ngặt bởi vì bà ấy có vấn đề với gan của mình, vì vậy bà không thể ăn cùng thức ăn như những người khác. Bên cạnh đó, bà cần phải uống một ít thuốc vào buổi sáng và buổi tối để duy trì sức khỏe của mình, và tôi cảm thấy rất buồn khi càng lúc bà lại càng cần nhiều thuốc hơn.
