Vế 1 chia thì HTHTTD vì hành động này diễn ra tiếp diễn từ quá khứ đến hiện tại : Anh ấy đã không ở đây từ hồi còn giáng sinh => giờ này vẫn chưa ở. Vả lại ở đây thì HTHTTD còn dùng để nhấn mạnh khoảng thời gian anh ấy chưa ở đây từ hồi còn giáng sinh.

Vế sau dùng cấu trúc HTHT như thường, xuất hiện since.
