I.So sánh ngang bằng (Equality)
So sánh ngang bằng dùng để miêu tả hai đối tượng giống nhau hoặc bằng nhau về một hoặc nhiều thuộc tính nào đó.
1.Với tính từ và trạng từ
a.Thể khẳng định
Công thức: S + V + as + adj/adv + as +…
Ví dụ:
+ She is as tall as Huong. (Cô ấy cao bằng Hương.)
+ She learns as well as her sister does. (Cô ấy học tốt như chị gái mình.)
b.Thể phủ định
Công thức: S + V + not + as/so + adj/adv + as +....
Ví dụ:
+ This exercise is not as/so difficult as I think (it is). (Bài tập này không khó như tôi nghĩ.)
+ He doesn't study as/so hard as I do/me. (Anh ấy không học hành chăm chỉ bằng tôi.)
